I used these as rods to hold my toddlers clothing in her closet. I added a shelf in the middle of her closet and wanted a second row to hang stuff but I was left with an odd size that I couldn't find the proper closet poles for at menards. And since I don't own a saw to cut the wooden ones down I just ordered these instead and put one on each side. Worked perfect and was cheaper then closet rods and fit baby hangers better.

I have a series of wardrobes and one is an odd size (broom closet) that I purchased to hang dresses in. It didn't come with a hanger bar so I purchased this and it works amazing. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.

I've had this about a week to hold up little curtains I am using to hide a storage space in my bathroom. It was a good deal and so far is staying up. My only complaint is that it was advertised as going up to 28 in, but when you get close to that, the middle joint where the two halves meet is so wobbly that you can move it up and down a couple of inches. Doesn't feel that secure. It's also nice because it has a very narrow diameter and I put on curtains that are the kind with grommet holes that it goes through. I had first bought a thicker rod, and the curtains wouldn't go fit on that. If you think you might need this for its maximum setting, I would move up to the next size.

Extremely easy to install. I wanted to use it to hang out infant clothes. They aren’t heavy at all, and there isn’t a lot. However, it’s really not sturdy. Guess can’t really complain too much for the price.

I bought this tension rod to fit a bathroom cupboard with no doors and used it to hang a curtain to hide the items in the cupboard. It worked perfectly - the right length, the curtain fit and slid well on the rod, and the rod stayed in place when being used, unlike some tension rods I've used in the past.

It does what it needs to. I needed a short tension rod for a small child size closet and this size is hard to find. As some other users said, it feels a little flimsy and does slide because of the plastic ends vs. rubber/silicone. However, with a small workaround of using felt furniture pads where the rod ends would be placed, it seems to be holding well. I've removed a star for the need for the workaround, but otherwise happy with the product.
