Life's Companion: Journal Writing as a Spiritual Quest

A friend referred me to the book, Life's Companion. Once I received the book and starting reading, I could not put the book down. Christina's wisdom and clarity in explanations provide a spiritual journey of happiness and awakening to ensure the reader has a path to enjoy their life each and every day. I have found I go back and re-read sections on the book on a regular basis. I just ordered Storycatcher and look forward to reading it this weekend. Highly encourage everyone to take the time to read Life's Companion. Everyone needs a good companion!

My book was delivered on time, well packaged. I was disappointed to see pages 2&3 missing. I read page one, turned the page to find page 4…what the heck!?It just put a damper on day one of my journey. Overall, not a big deal, just makes me wonder if the seller is sending factory seconds.

I had no expectations of this book, so it was a pleasant surprise! The exercises it offers are very useful, the thinking sound, and the outcome of the exercises is ongoing. I would recommend this book as a guide to inner thinking and beliefs.

Helpful ideas and prosaic writing.

A small group of women are working thru this book as a "Journaling Ministry" and so we have not gone thru the entire book, but meet 2X's a month and work the writing exercises. To me it is a very spiritual aspect of journaling and i particularly like the examples (in italics) to enhance our perspectives on what we write. An excellent book i recommend to anyone interested in a journey thru the written word.

I got this book back in high school originally and my life is just sorta complete with it. Unfortunately, my original copy was recently destroyed in a plumbing incident. I felt an instant hole in my being knowing that this book was gone. I was quickly healed when I went on Amazon and found the book. The book is great!

It was the older edition so the cover of the book was not this one.

A solid friend in the journal writing journey; with wonderful accompaniment in the journal entries included. If you're looking for inspiration in your spiritual walk, this is one stop you shouldn't miss.

Firstly, the front cover I received was not the same one shown on here. Its very spiritual. I didn't realise this journal was based on spiritual journal writing. Having said that I like the way its laid out in the book and some of the journal prompts are interesting and can still use them without being spiritual. There is mention of god in this book which some people might not like. Its a thick book with 350 pages which I love because I feel like you get alot more out of the book. I'm going to highlight mine (sorry if people don't like that) so I can see what I can use out of this book.

Excellent introduction to journal writing with a spiritual emphasis. Lot as of ideas and prompts.

This book was recommended to me by someone who has read / used lots of journalling books.I have found it to be a very useful resource. Buy it.
