Works very well in multiple materials such as wood, iron, and glass. Unfortunately did not work for me because I needed some bit very thin only to correct mistakes in bottles engraved, so I was not able to use this one on bottles but have used in another material and it worked very well.

I love the rechargeable battery. I normally use the pen style that like to chew up batteries. I really like having the on/off button. It is quite bulky which takes some getting used to. I've used this primarily on glasses

bought this to replace a previous version, sadly this copy has a bit of an issue with the switch section that made it so I had to jam electrical tape around the plastic piece that holds the switch and electrical contact in place, I also added a blob of solder to make it support flat-top cells(no idea why they don't tweak the design to use standard and common flat top cells) and when the battery gets low you tend to have issues with torque and heat buildup but for a single cell handheld dremel clone you can't beat the value(just make sure to get real quality 18650 cells because 10-15 minutes per cell before the cell is too discharged to ensure proper function is painful) 2000mah cells that can do 4-5A continuously(salvaged laptop or tool pack cells should be ideal, or buy real 10a capable cells at 2-5$ a pop, cheaping out never works, I tried it)

It did not come brand-new like they say it is. Does not come with a plug-in charger. That sucks cause when it's time to buy new batteries they will cost an arm and a leg. Other than that it's a good tool.

I have tried few different pens to work on my project. This one is first one with battery. Was hoping to find strong motor for hard metals. Maybe this one will work better on glasses than on metals. Battery runs out quickly and you have to change and charge few times just for one small crafting work. Liked the way it holds its bit-better than other pens I have tried. Heavier than it looks, but the heavy weight makes it easier to work on my project (I've used to heavy ones) Would be better if they add extra bits, cheap ones had lot more extra bits.

I have not experimented with the engraver yet, since I have to guess how to secure the tips into the tip holder. It is not intuitive for me. I may have to return it if I cannot figure it out.
