These black bins are thick. I have stacked these 6 or 7 high in storage units and trust them with everything from books to breakables. They are surprisingly stable even at that height. The yellow tops fit tightly and don't exhibit cracking or bending under the stacked weight. To get the tops off, press down in the middle of either end of the top and lift. Two of these GreenMade 12-gallon bins will also stack side-by-side on top of their 27-gallon bin.

Best storage containers. I use them all the time. Great seal and can stand up to a cold garage.

Deceptive description of item. It is not a pack of four totes. Received two totes and two tops.

Work great and very sturdy

These containers are built to last. They have survived multiple moves and are very well built. They are also stackable and can withstand heavy items when stacked to the ceiling.

Each time I get a shipment of these, the top lid is always damaged. No matter. Duct tape solves it every time. I wouldn't throw it (or it'll shatter), but it's great for the crawl space.

It's a very sturdy container.
