This gift set is a good size and carries a reasonable bit of weight to it, so it feels like something substantial. The box is quite sturdy too, adding to the feeling of quality. It’s all nicely presented in a tasteful grey with a mauve ribbon in the corners, and quite a bit of floral decoration, but not too much.The items contained within are all general-purpose and practical for everyday use, so none of those obscure specialist pieces that you hardly ever use. It’s nice to have a traditional soap included as well as this will likely last the longest, but with the consistent fragrances used throughout they help to remind you of the entire gift until it’s all used up.Overall, it is a good quality gift set with a nice rose flower fragrance that will please anyone that is a fan of that particular scent. It’s not an overpowering level of fragrance, so anyone wanting to make a really statement of flowers when they walk in the room might be left wanting, but for most people the level of scent on offer will be perfectly adequate. The box also states that none of the products have been tested on animals and are all paraben-free, which is good to know.For a price of £18 (at time of review) that seems like average value for money, considering what you get. Yes they are all decent sizes and the gift set packaging is sturdy and nicely done, but I would not be surprised if this sort of item went on offer from time-to-time.

I got this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Bayliss & Harding are the elite of boxsets and they have put together another winner here.What I really like about this set is that the odour is not too over powering. After my wife completes the pampering session, she smells great without being too overcome with the smell of rose petals.The soap is really nice, we are currently using that in the bathroom.She really enjoys the hand cream too, as it leaves her hands feeling nice and supple. She also uses the shower cream on her eczema and dry areas as it gives her some relief during the cold winter months.To top it all off this product is beautifully presented in an elegant box with cute little corner bow.This is the ideal present to get for your wife, girlfriend, sister or mother. In fact any adult female friend or family member will really love this classy boxset.

Presented as a lovely gift for a more mature lady - it is certainly not trendy or shabby chic, just good old fashioned pretty. The individual items are beautifully packaged and good, full size products, not little tester ones, so it is a weighty box. However I was expecting a heady smell of roses which is my favourite perfume of all, but sadly it was just not there - just a faint chemical cosmetic whiff from all the products. The body butter has a consistency more of cold cream than a rich butter, but it does absorb quickly and left no greasy residue. The soap is beautifully boxed, but square and plain white inside. The body lotion and shower are also satisfactory but a bit so what too. Come on B&H up the perfume!

This is a beautifully presented gift box tied with a pretty bow just waiting to be given to someone to make their day!It's a fantastically priced set, it's currently on offer at under £11 on Amazon though I don't know how long this offer is on for. The set contains a gorgeous shower cream, a hand and body lotion, a soap and a body butter all in the divine scent of Midnight Rose and best of all they are full size products.We use a lot of Baylis and Harding products in our house, mainly the hand soaps and the hand creams as they're affordable yet luxury products, they look good in the bathrooms for guests and always smell incredible. I hadn't tried the scent Midnight Rose before but it is absolutely gorgeous, it's not too overpowering but leaves you smelling really yummy and my husband approves too! The creams finish off the regime nicely after a shower and leaves you feeling soft with a lovely scent, I use the Body Butter on my feet as they are drier and it helps them feel smooth and pampered!All in all a truly gorgeous set for yourself or for a gift. I'll definitely be getting a couple of these for friends as you know it's always going to be a win with Baylis and Harding. Highly recommended!
