Long Boho Skirts for Women - Bohemian Hippie Maxi Summer Skirt

My 7-year old who has better taste than I said, “oh, I love it. You’re keeping that!” The little man has spoken! What draws your attention to it are the bright colors. It’s lightweight and comfortable. I’m 5’4” and often things are too long on me- not the case here. Nice summer skirt to run around in.

These are perfect for vacation and super comfortable. I have them in several colors. The only thing is the tie has a wide attachment on the side of the skirt, so if you're not using it as a dress, there's not really a good way to get them out of the way if you don't want to tight in front

I like this skirt. It is an air-dry item, though. (I suspect it would shrink significantly in a heated dryer, as the rayon is a loose weave.) CooI, comfy, flowy. You can feel air moving around your legs as you walk. (I live where it’s hot and humid.) It is sheer when held up to light. Beautiful color and pattern. The cut of skirt and the fabric pattern work well to diminish the sheerness when worn as skirt. Good as swimsuit cover-up when used as dress. If you wear it as dress, wear panties to match your skin tone or you’ll see contrast through the dress, if that’s a concern for you. It is for me-I’m modest. Very pleased with this, it will be functional and useful.

Very happy with the quality for the price. It's a perfect little beach dress. The quality is on par with old navy or something like that. Seams are stitched well. Fabric is slightly better/thicker than i expected- it's not life-changing or anything, but it's not that super thin junk either. Color is as advertised, vibrant and fun (i got the indigo). Fit and drape are VERY nice, and easily adjustable. I don't like the way the straps are advertised for the dress because they slide into your armpit and feel weird, but it's easily worn as a strapless dress or you can cross them over your chest and then tie them behind your neck. Overall I'm very happy and I'll probably get one or two more. For reference, I'm 5'6 140 lb and I got the large. It fits nicely but also has PLENTY of stretch and material left for curvier gals.

I love the brilliant colors and patterns in this lightweight Bohemian style skirt! It is just as it appears in the photograph. This isn't always the case when shopping online. I was concerned that the rayon fabric might not breathe like silk or cotton, but I am very favorably impressed. It performs great in my Arizona heat. The slightest breeze sends the skirt billowing around you-so refreshing! I think the extra care this skirt requires by hand-washing is repaid in all the compliments you will receive from complete strangers! It dries quickly outdoors in the sunshine. I wish I had ordered the Plus size instead of One as the fabric does shrink even with TLC. It is snug but still wearable, just not as comfy as their harem pants, which I will keep in mind when re-ordering. Hi! I am editing this review at least 4 or 5 years after the fact: It's amazing to me how well this fabric has held up. I am still wearing the skirts I originally purchased all those seasons ago!!! Despite being lightweight, these skirts hold up to being laundered in a machine on cold and dried in low or medium heat. I wear these skirts OFTEN! They are so COMFORTABLE! AND THEY ARE JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS WHEN I PURCHASED THEM. I'm a gal who likes to get a bang out of her buck - these skirts from Joob Joob fit the bill. AND, they are still in style! I still get compliments regularly from strangers, too. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with my purchases. I ordered a different pattern and colorsthis time. They offer LARGER sizes now. I got a Plus. I weigh about 140 lbs with wide hips and thighs. These are so flattering to my figure!!! I have a Belly dancer's body. Trust me all styles do not flatter my figure. I have made a commitment to handwashing my new skirt and drying in the sunshine. The colors do bleed a little bit the first few times it is washed, but not enough to loose their vibrancy. They also shrink a bit, even with handwashing. Because the stirring around the pelvic area is so generous, it will still fit. Also, if you yo-yo with your weight, they also fit. I even think pregnant women could wear them until the last trimester when worn as a skirt. During the last trimester it could be worn as a dress. The uneven hem wouldn't look odd when a woman is heavily pregnant. I think Joob Joob should consider showing photos of pregnant women wearing these versatile garments. It might cater to a demographic that doesn't offer many fashionable choices. If the elastic doesn't get too stretched out, it could be put to use again when the woman's body returns to normal! I bought this as a summer dress/skirt. Overall the product is ok. For tats, I am 5'11", 160 ish and 40-30-39. This is a very flowy skirt/dress which makes it very comfortable to wear. As a maxi skirt it comes to the bottom of my ankles. The rusched waist can make it a little adjustable as to length. The top is stretchy but strong enough so it doesn't slip down easily. If tied as a halter top, no issue. The fabric is more sheer than I expected and that is an issue for me. You may have to wear a half slip under as your outline can be visible in bright light. Being a free spirit (I never wear a slip or any underwear in the summer), this doesn't work for me. As for bust, the top is heavy enough to not see through and is stretchy enough to accomodate larger breast sizes. A C up would be okay, A D cup and you may have to wear it as a halter top. I wish it wasn't as sheer as it is because I would keep it. Given the sheerness I have to return it

Great light material, vibrant colours. For me it works better as a skirt rather than a dress, but would be very versatile if needing to travel light.
