I purchased this about 6 months ago to replace a cheap plastic one and it’s been great. Sturdy, easy to use handle on top and easy to clean. Cost a bit more but worth it.

Pros: · Helps your food cook more evenly · Easier to handle than plastic splatter guards (which can get very hot all over) since the handle is silicone and won't get hot easily. · Good size for even large dinner plates. · Easier to clean than plastic Cons: · Probably more money than most people would like to pay for a splatter guard · Too big for smaller microwaves (but the size was the reason I bought it so this may not be a con)

This cover is very well made and looks and feels amazing. It’s easy to clean and functions as expected, protecting the microwave from splatter and keeping food more moist. Only minor knock is that, due I presume to the heft/mass of the cover, food can take a little longer to cook. For example, heating up 2 hotdogs without a cover or with a thinner cover takes about 1 1/2 minutes. With this cover, the cook time increases to about 2 minutes. I assume that the cover initially absorbs a good bit of the microwave energy because of its mass. Regardless, I still would recommend this cover for all of the reasons mentioned in this review.

This is great. I bought it 2+ years ago and it still rocks. I love knowing there is no plastic and it keeps my microwave very clean. It doesn’t get super hot on the handle typically. It’s big enough to fit most anything I heat. It’s slightly heavier than I’d prefer but it isn’t difficult, just a tad annoying if I’m feeling lazy but most the time I don’t even notice. It cleans really easily. It’s super handy and worth the money!!! Go ahead and get i!

I purchased (on Amazon) two previous microwave covers, both all glass, both dropped a foot onto the floor and shattered -- the last one from the same vendor, Bezrat, very sturdy. This is glass on the top, but has a microwave-safe lower portion, and is larger -- it fits all around our dinner plates rather than balancing on the edge. Since it is lighter and not totally glass I am betting this will last longer. And it WORKS -- just the right amount of venting to keep in moisture. A must-have accessory unless you are a fan of cleaning your microwave after ever high heat event.

2 year update, still works as it should. The rubber hasn’t deformed or crack.

We have gone through multiple plastic microwave covers. All of them eventually would melt in places or deform. This was always "operator error". Plus, the plastic just isn't healthy. This silicone and glass cover solves both problems. No more unhealthy cooking, no more replacing every so often. It is more expensive than the cheaper plastic models, but will never have to be replaced. My only suggestion would be to have more than the 2 small vent holes in the glass portion of the cover. We have had this cover for about a year, it will last forever with proper care.

Endlich mal eine Haube, die über den Teller passt, die nicht auf dem Essen aufliegt und wo man sich beim Abheben nicht die Finger verbrennt. Und platzsparend verstauen läßt sie sich auch noch. Einsatzort ist der Backofen mit integrierter Mikrowelle. Also Maße beachten!!

Great to prevent splatters in the microwave or to help keep food warm on a plate.

The cheap short covers don't allow enough space and you end up 'cooking plastic' with you food especially if using a bowl. This one is high enough so food doesn't touch it. Easy to clean and sturdy. I like the red color too, not boring.

Ho provato diversi coperchi per il microonde, ma questo è il migliore, il vetro permette di vedere i cibi all’interno, i due fori permettono lo sfogo del vapore in eccesso, il peso del vetro tiene ben appoggiato il coperchio, la base pieghevole in silicone permette di usarlo alto o basso a seconda della necessità, il pomolo per sollevarlo non scotta mai perché agganciato al vetro, la qualità del silicone è ottima e il colore veramente bello, promosso a pieni voti.
