Comes with everything you need. From herbs and spices to a GIANT brine bag. I had a 15lb turkey and the bag was probably big enough for 2 of them. I'm certain this could easily fit a 25 lb turkey. I did find it worked a little better after I put the bag into a support structure in my fridge (i used my empty crockpot bowl).Reading through the other reviews, I only used about 3/4 of the herb pouch for the turkey and it turned out amazing after a 2.5 hour smoke. I'm still getting compliments about the turkey to this day (its almost Christmas)

I ordered this particular brand this year for Thanksgiving because I forgot to order my usual brand & it wouldn't be delivered in time-shhhh! I'm glad I made that mistake becauseThis brand was amazing the flavors it gave my Turkey from the Seasonings in the Brine,it was actually cheaper- What I loved was the Quality of the Brine Bag it was the best I ever seen,no twisty tie it had a thick great zip lock, the bag size is big I had a 19lb bird and there was lots of room , Its really easy works really well, there's different seasoning flavors to pick the bird is Always juicy and flavorful - Just give yourself an extra 24 hrs to brine, rinse off pat dry then do the rest as you usually roast your bird or deep fry, barbecue Whatever people do . Good Choice. I got an extra for next year by mistake but I'm prepared ahead this time!!

Great bag, sturdy, does what it’s supposed to do. Brine can be anything and this one is good, I’d use this over spending extra money making my own. 5 stars because it’s so unimportant that there is no reason to compare… just find a sturdy bag, you’ll figure out your flavor.

I purchased the Apple Sage brine kit, I got voluntold to make the turkey this year and it was my first turkey ever so to say I was stressed was putting it mildly. I purchased this kit, mixed it up added almost a half gallon of apple cider, cut up oranges, onions and garlic in the brine as well in total probably about 2 gallons of liquid for a 13.5# turkey, brined it for right about 36 hours. I’m glad I had more liquid that the box recommended because I realized the kit was made for an 18-22# bird so I got worried it might be too salty. But it came out perfect I added the oranges and onions from the brine to the bottom of the pan and some chicken broth rubbed it down with an herbed compound butter and basted frequently and got my first beautiful bird with great flavor and very juicy. Will purchase again!

Bought and used this brine for Thanksgiving and it worked great. The taste was delicious and the process was easy. The only issue with the kit was the bag it came with. The seal for the bag was on the side, instead of the top, so when I put the turkey in my stock pot, the seal was on the side and awkward. It opened up the first time I put it in so I had it laying diagonally. Other than that it was good.

If you've never Brined a Turkey before roasting, you're missing out!Usually concoct my own Brine solution, and find a cooler to fill up with water and the mix, then have to clean the whole mess.I'm regular user of San Francisco Salt Co. products, so when I saw this kit on their website I was intrigued.I was not disappointed, and glad I ordered in early November before Amazon ran out.The turkey was the most moist and tender Turkey I've ever roasted. Breast meat you could cut with a fork and full of flavor. Legs & Thighs juicy with a nice crisp skin. My only complaint was that it seemed a little salty, but I'm attributing that to the fact that the kit is enough to season a 22lb Turkey and I only made a 14lb, but still used the whole season packet. I could have solved that by adding more water to the bag to dilute the solution, or just not Brine as long ( I had it in the Brine for almost 20hrs. Just overnight would probably have been enough. So just keep that in mind if you are doing a smaller bird.Followed the directions on the package, very easy to use.Will be buying again when it's back in stock, so I have it on hand.Thanks SF Salt Co for a great Thanksgiving meal!
