Great in my Windows server 2012R2 HyperV. works with almost ALL virtual OS. we are using Linux, Unix, Windows in the VM environment.simply works. windows has already got the drivers for it, so install is very extremely easy. If you have PCIexpress 1.0 (the smallest one) and higher, no worries, this card works for ALL of them. buy it you will love it..

This replaced the failing NIC on my motherboard and have been faithful to me since. They both run at full 1Gbp/s and I use one at the default DHCP setting and the other as a static setting with Google's DNS for redundancy in-case my DHCP fails or my ISP's DNS should fail. This is a PCIe 1x card which will work snuggly into any free port even if you are doing a multi-GPU set up.

Popped into my old Dell server, installed drivers and we're up and running with two extra gigE ports. Running under Windows 7. Have several VMs sharing this card via VMware Player without issue. Haven't speed tested it, but I've got it watching a port mirror on my router which sees ALL of my LAN traffic and it's keeping up just fine, so for even causal networking chores I suspect it's just fine.

Works quite well to add zones/networks to a Sophos UTM network security appliance/server. Good speed/throughput on both ports. Didn't have an issue with install or setup, and both cards (I purchased 2) worked out of the box. Couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

Works as advertised. I picked this up so I could dedicate two gigabit NICs to a Sophos UTM virtual machine, and it works admirably. I've heard of some people running into issues with Realtek driver support but I haven't had any issues either in the smattering of operating systems I've used with this card. If you need 100% driver compatability assurance, spend the extra $10 and get an Intel card, but this Syba with its Realtek chips has worked great for me in my home server.

I plugged this NIC into my computer with plans of using it with my Hyper-V installation on Windows 10. I set up the VSwitch and connected a VM and could tell right away that something wasn't right. I would ping my router and get 75% packet loss. I downloaded the latest drivers, deleted everything and set it up again. It was having the same issue. Pulled the card, set up a basic network with a router, managed switch and no Hyper V. Even a new network cable. I couldn't even connect to the management interface on the managed switch that it was physically plugged into and a ping was resulting in that same 75-80% no response rate. I tried to return it but Amazon presented an error that the item can't be returned. There was an option to contact a customer service rep which I did. I explained that the site won't let me return the product but it is defective. They said it was non-returnable but they would refund my purchase. I have had it for less than a week so well within the 30 days. Just skip this one and get an Intel NIC or something else. It might have been $10 cheaper but I have spend several hours messing around with this and 10 min of my time fighting a ridiculous issue isn't worth the $10 I saved.

I installed this card in a Lenovo TD340 running Hyper-V Server 2016 TP4 and it recognized it no issue and has worked perfectly. I actually passed the two ports directly to a VM running PFSense which also no issue with card. Speed has been amazing so I am very happy for the price.

Product works as advertised, meaning it's a NIC that does NIC things. Does -not- work with ESXi out the box, you have to attach drivers to the installer which was expected, however, PCI passthrough will not work at all regardless of driver version. Additionally PFsense didn't seem to like this NIC as well, even though it worked well with my other realtek card. I sent this back for an Intel nic just to remove the headaches.

Works perfectly as expected. It comes with an extra plate for short pci-e desktops which is a nice touch. In my case, I'm using it in a hardware firewall. Speeds are right in spec and works out of the box with no addional drivers.

This card is very reliable. had no problem streaming Vienna Ensemble Pro from My HP DL380 Server to my Studio PC.
