Good book on strategy

Filtered experience extracted as nuggets of wisdom. Simple yet practicable in every age, not excluding the present and the future

The Art of war has some timeless ideas on strategy and discipline and a few concepts are genuinely insightful . However the language feels repetitive at times and many points seem obvious or outdated in a modern context

For youngsters

Very good book

Sun Tzu belonged to the age of chariot warfare🏇. But his "Art of War" remains relevant even in our age of drone warfare, ballistic missiles 🚀, and nuclear☢️ weapons. He was against the idea of destroying the enemy's land. Instead, Sun Tzu preferred to conquer enemy's land without destroying it. The Art of War focuses on conquering the enemy by avoiding deaths and destructions as much as possible. Sun Tzu👴 said : ​"To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting. ​Therefore the skillful leader subdues the enemy’s troops without any fighting; he captures their cities without laying siege to them; he overthrows their kingdom without lengthy operations in the field."

Did not like the story telling way.

Está muy bien, es más grande y fino de lo que creía pero lo importante es el contenido que está genial. Todo en orden.
