Cecilio 4Series TB-480 Bb Valve Trombone with Monel Valves

Overall, the quality is good. I didn't notice any immediate defects. Case is sturdy. The 12C mouthpiece wasn't to my liking (the Blessing 6-1/2 is much better).The valves were initially on the dry side, so I lubricated them with valve oil. Took me a short while to understand how to put the valves back in (rotate the valve until the nylon key drops into the slot inside the cylinder). When pressed vertically, all three valves returned as expected. However, my ring finger presses the 3rd valve slightly toward the bell, and under that condition the 3rd valve returns slowly. Pulled the valve, but couldn't find anything obvious causing the problem. Maybe it would work after some break-in, but I'm not waiting...Returned to Amazon.

i received the trombone fast. every thing good. but one of the valves was damaged. so they send me another one fast.the problem they suppose to send a UPS TO pick the bad one up. and i have like two weeks waiting and i still waiting.and i do not know how to contact them.

This plays something like a trumpet. For trombonists who started out with the old slide, that's fine, this does allow one to play faster, though you have to be dextrous.

I'm really a trumpet player. I also have their "super-bone" but I'm probably never going to get proficient on the slide. I simply can't get it together trying to solo on the super-bone. With this I immediately have the same solo capability that I have on the trumpet.
