Perfect for my needs
This timer is being used to control two gas heaters in a lodge that gets very little use in the Winter, and is only heated when people are there. The timers keep people from forgetting to turn the heaters off when they leave. Worked perfect for this use.The only problem I had was installation. The timer fits in a standard outlet box, but there is barely any room for the wires that go into the side of the timer. I had to pry the side of the metal outlet box to bow it out so I had room for the wires to slide in alongside of the timer. It would have been much better to be able to insert the wires in the back, instead of in the side.

Installed at my multiple charging station in the closet.
Installed at my multiple charging station in the closet. This controls a power strip which in turn feedsmultiple chargers. Old school mechanical timer works well. I have the impression this will last for decades. I insert the battery to be charged into the appropriate charger, set the timer for 4 or 6 or whatever hours, and no longer have to constantly return to check up on charging battery.

LOUD
It works, but it is LOUD and there is no way to stop the ticking.

No way to turn it off
Install was easy enough, but there is no way to speed up the timer once started. If someone cranks it to 12, you've got 12 hours of power being supplied.I guess that's the problem with manual instead of digital timers.
