This box is a great size and can be used for packing variety of snacks / lunch without worrying about the hassle of leaks. We just loved the purchase and the blue colored lid is so attractive with the patterns as well - its so easy to clean this by hand or in dishwasher. Absolutely no smells retained by the lid which is the best part.

I purchased this for my son's lunch box. I needed something that was easy to open, but leak proof. This has both. I thought price was a little high.

I have tried for many years to move away from using plastic storage containers. In that regard, up until receiving this stainless-steel container, I have used glass storage containers but, unfortunately, all of their lids are plastic. In contrast, this Tavva container is stainless steel with a silicone lid.Stainless steel is a delightful alternative to glass. The main drawback to glass is that it makes a horrendous mess if you accidentally drop it. It shatters into endless, sharp shards that are a major challenge to clean up safely. There is no such problem with this lightweight, stainless-steel container. Steel may dent if you drop it, but it won’t break. That feature alone makes this product an ideal choice for families with children and pets.This stainless-steel container is quite attractive with a mirror-bright finish. Its silicone cover is a lovely, deep shade of blue, and it has an appealing, raised design.This container holds a little more than three cups, and because it is leak proof, you can store liquids in it such as soup. You do not have to wait for hot liquids like soup to cool down before putting them into this container because both it and its cover are heat resistant.Finally, this container is just plain fun to use. It feels good in my hands and brightens up my kitchen.Highly recommended.
