This item should be removed from this page and the seller penalised. I bought this item as a gift and luckily had it delivered to my home first. I just wanted to look at the item to see if it really was what I expected. I was very disappointed as it does not bear any resemblance to the item shown. The worrying thing is, if this had been sent directly to the people I had bought it for, I wouldn't have been aware of the scam. I got a full refund and guess what? The seller didn't want the item returned... I wonder why. I urge Amazon to deal with this issue if they care about their customers. After all, I wouldn't have fallen for this scam if I hadn't been searching for a game set on Amazon.

I gotta say that right out of the box, this is a pretty nice little game set. Some people reviewed it poorly, but you get what you pay for. I have seen much cheaper sets, for not much less, I have also seen this EXACT SAME set retailing elsewhere for almost twice the price! So I certainly don't think this is worth $70 or $80, but it is definitely worth the $33 I paid. I like that it comes with so many games, instead of just 4 or 5. At least for the money, you are getting a fair variety.As other reviewers said, yes it is unfortunate that it does not come with printed instructions for the games, that would be nice. But, it is not a seller or Amazon issue. I did my research. This set does not come with instructions no matter where you get it from. That is just the way they packaged it. Doesn't matter if you buy it from Amazon, Target, Toys-R-Us or Kohls, no instructions. Life goes on. Just Google how to play each game individually. I actually like the design of storage for the set, it is very appropriate. Mine came with all the pieces, dice, etc., and I don't think the pieces are too small. In fact, my husband bought a $15 set that he promptly returned because the chess pieces were ridiculously cheap and puny. The chess pieces of this set are actually of a reasonable size, so he likes it, and we are keeping it. The dominoes.... okay, those are kind of a joke. But again, the whole set is $30 bucks, so don't expect a whole lot.I actually love that this set is similar to one my mom had as a display set when I was a kid. I loved it. I remember when my brother and sister and I were bored, we would just sit down, take the top off and pull out the pieces to whatever we wanted to play. It's actually a wonder we never lost any of the pieces. This set is just like a walk down memory lane, this is nice enough to actually display on a coffee table, without being so nice that you don't want the kids to touch it. We are happy letting ours learn all the games and play them together as a family. So me personally, I love the set. It is exactly what i'd expect for the price. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. Haven’t unpacked it yet so we will wait for Christmas

The game is great. There are a lot of options that one can play. The quality of the board and pieces is good. It should last for a long time. The only complaint I have is that there was no instruction book or rules for the games. Many are older games and we do not know how to paly them. We have contacted the company twice and were told there is a book that comes with the games, but we have not recieved it after two attempts and several weeks of waiting.

The price and the quality is ptetty good.It was worth of buying for my classroom
