for what size dog and weight? would this seat be appropiate, have a medium size senior dog 40lbs

I got this bed for my shi tzu who weights 7 lbs . The bed was little big for her but my yorkie loves to sleep there while my 7lb lays there . My yorkie is 5 lbs. they both fit perfectly so I think it would fit a 25 lbs just fine but it would be too small for a 40lb dog.

How do install in back seat ?

1. Pass the car seat belt through the two reserved webbing belts behind the dog car seat, and insert the seat belt into the safety socket. 2. Fix the belt on the top of the dog car seat to the headrest of the rear seat. 3. When installing the dog car seat on the rear seat, the belt at the bottom of the dog car seat will not be used.

Is this car seat made in America?

Unfortunately no. Made in China. But it’s a great car seat. I’ve really enjoyed the convenience and easy install.
