We love Swedish bitters, great for our seasonal allergies, digestion etc.. same taste as ready made, but at $20 for 100ml?!! Bag of herbs $35 and Vodka 1.75 L is $10 I get 1750 ml(1/2gallon) for $45, I’d say it’s a great deal :)

I bought these for my mom. She was previously buying her swedish bitters pre-made by a nice old man, who sadly passed away recently. She told me her bitters not only came out great but she said that they came out super thick, not at all like she was used to. The flavor is really amazing and she also said that it doesn't compare to her previous experience with "herba suecas" She's already asking me to purchase double the amount, because she bought a bigger jar.

Bought a 8.45 oz extraction for about $40. To me this is TOO expensive because my family including my doggies use it internally and externally daily. When I found this I decided to make my own since it is pretty easy. All it take is time. People say the more time the better. I use my ultra sonic cleaner to speed up the processing time. It saves me weeks. I do a 30" ultra sonic session and it is done. Of course I need to soak the herbs in vodka over night to help the extraction first. I learn this from Mike Adams,the health ranger. The finished production is similar in look and taste like the pre made liquid. It works the same if not better to us too. Since I already have an ultra sonic cleaner for making liposomal vitamin C , it doesn't coast me any extra. I am very happy with this product and I ordered it again within 1 week. If you like this herbs, I highly recommend using an ultra sonic cleaner. I do not have patience waiting for 6+ weeks, especially when I need it quick. I just pour out what we need for about a week and leave the rest with the herbs inside a vacuum sealed mason jar to let it continue its process for a better extraction (hopefully). Shake it once if I remember- mostly for fun. :-) Once we finish using the liquid,I plan to use the used herbs to make tea because it has been soaking in the extraction for a long time, it should be potent or put it on gauze for skin or pain issues. It won't hurt trying. Hope these help anyone who wants to try. My family has not seen a doctor for 15+ years, except the dentists ! :-(

Very bitter. Very healthy. We made bitters with this and it really does the body good. Dried herbs but still fresh.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Easy instructions to prepare, same traditional bitter flavor and ingredients to help with digestion and healing.

This form takes some time and effort to soak the herbs in vodka, but less costly if you use regularly. Final product is quite bitter, but I've gotten used to it. I find my system likes it better than Swedish or German bitters which I've tried. I take between a teaspoon and a tablespoon after meals and sometimes before bed, and it seems to help considerably with overnight digestion.

Absolutely fantastic for what I was looking for. Infused it with oil. Turned out splendid. Will be purchasing again!
