I live in Maryland and another month or 2 of warm weather! Is it ok to have it in house? Looking for something small and wont grow too big

Definitely. I have mine indoors. I bought mine in March and it is thriving and has grown shoots up to 3 feet long. If you prefer to keep it small, just trim the shoots. It will grow thicker that way. It likes my north-facing window.

Does this plant have any smell? If so, is it good or?

The blooms are very fragrant. My whole front porch smells during full bloom. I consider it a spicy scent. My husband doesn’t care for it, I think it’s really personal preference.

Is this plant good for outside in south Florida?

Yes they do fine and I live in zone 9b (Tampa area). I bought 4 and they are huge now. Smell amazing for the 3-4 week period that they bloom. My favorite smell ever! Good luck.
