Love Mark Twain!
Love these workbooks! its the closest I've seen to what we used when I was in school. Very informative and complete. I have to get more books like this one. I can actually read this book and stay interested. Which History was always my favorite subject.

Solid question, traditional perspective
This workbook uses a pretty standard narrative from which to view history. The questions make the kid work a bit more than just a retelling of facts. This is a useful supplement to a curriculum with more perspectives.

I particularly like the fact that each page can be torn out to be its own worksheet with the writing on one side, and the questions on the back. Other workbooks have the writing on one page and the questions on a separate page, requiring you to tear out multiple pages that may also contain parts of other assignments.

Not what I expected
The description and cover of this workbook led me to believe that it was of better quality. It is actually a short synapsis of an event and a graphic organizer for a student. This is ok if you are using it to supplement actual content, but it is not great overall.
