Quality stainless steel slicer

Okay for the price
I like how it is one piece but wish it cut cheese a little thicker.

Very sharp, slices evenly
Great little gadget. Takes up hardly any space. Good quality. Would buy again. We put it to the test and a year later it's still good as new

"Cheesy"
Unlike other reviewers, I received both of the replacement wires, for which I am glad, as I question how long the installed wire will last: it stretched measurably after the 1st use. Nope, it didn't come loose from the side screws - it has stretched. Other than that, it is perfectly functional, `though rather cheap with its hollowed-out underside. But for the price? Certainly worth it. Would I buy it again? Yes, because they don't make my favorite slicer anymore.

Light and cheap, but works fine
Some reviewers have complained about the fact that this slicer is lightweight and feels cheap -- sure it IS lightweight, and hollow, and I guess you could say it feels cheap if you were expecting something made out of steel or cast iron that you could use as an exercise weight instead of using it to cut cheese. It's a cheese cutter -- that's what it is supposed to do -- and it does that job just fine.

Horrible product
I purchased this Fox Run Cheese Slicer April 2025. The wires started stretching with use & then broke last year. If you purchase this, only use it for very soft processed cheese. Block cheeses destroyed this slicer.

GONE THROUGH LOTS OF CHEESE PLANES
THIS STYLE I LIKE BEST. BUY THE LARGE BLOCK CHEESE, AND THEN PULL THIS TOWARD YOU. SLICK AND QUICK! CUT AS SOON AS YOU REMOVE FROM FRIG. DON'T LET COME TO ROOM TEMP AND THEN TRY TO CUT. SUPER COLD CUTTING WORKS BEST! Some cheese/charcuterie companies pack this style with their GIFT BOXES!

Cuts the cheese but not as fine-tuned as pricer ones
For years, I had a beautiful, sleek cheese slicer that would cut everything from paper-thin curls to thick, uniform slices. I was heartbroken when someone in the household donated it to a thrift shop because they thought it was a vegetable peeler (of which we had several). I found the replacement cost of that particular slicer was beyond our current budget, so I replaced it with this model. The lost cheese slicer was infinitely adjustable and used two "wheels" to adjust the thickness. This cheese slicer is quite a bit clunkier. You have to use a screw to adjust the positioning of the wire, and I have fround that the screw is difficult to adjust by hand, so if you want to adjust the thickness of the cheese slices, you have to have a screwdriver (or something that will open and close a small screw) handy. This is not an advantage. The device looks nice. It's a pretty stainless steel, and it feels as though the handle will be durable. If you just want uniform cheese slices and aren't interested in paper-thin slices, this will do the job. If you want something more adjustable, this might not be your "jam." I think, however, that I will send this back and get a replacement for the higher quality cheese slicer.

Excellent quality with thumbscrew for easy adjust. Cuts cheese smoother than your mums bosom.
Light weight with a quality thumbscrew mechanism that makes it easy to adjust. It functions effortlessly and allows you to safely cut the perfect thickness slice of cheese every single time. I love this thing. It arrived on time, and it is easy to rinse off to clean too. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excelente artículo
Cumple excelentemente su cometido, solo que con el tiempo el hilo de alambre que corta se va aflojando

Funciona apenas para queijos mole...
Se for um tipo de queijo mais duro como coalho, não vai funcionar bem..

Lightweight and slices well.
My mom has had one of these for as long as I can remember and I always wanted one. Although I wish this was one solid piece, it still does what I need it to do. I was happy to see that it came with 2 replacement strings. Only negative is that because it’s a moulded tool and no fully solid, it’s not not very comfortable to hold. For the price, I would still recommend it as it slices well and does what it needs to do. .
