A bit time-consuming
A wonderful plan book with step-by-step instructions that I found easy to follow for the most part. Makes it so easy to plan keto meals for the week, especially for beginners like me, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Each recipe lists your macros, making them easy to track over time. I'm fairly new to meal prepping. This Sunday I started shopping for the ingredients (listed easily in the book already for you) at around 10am. It's 3:30pm now, on my feet straight in the kitchen prepping, feet killing me, but I'm done and cleaned up the kitchen, ready to rest. That's the only thing: pretty time-consuming and on-your-feet for an extended period of time, but the result is a really easy week with a clean kitchen and clean keto meals. But wear good shoes if you take long like I did. Enjoy the book. I highly recommend it!

Don't Pay For A Meal Prep Service....Buy This Book!!!
I just started on Keto, so I was looking for a simple introduction. I have been a long time bikini bodybuilder, so I am very familiar with meal prep in general. However, keto focuses on higher fat consumption than I am used to, hence the reason for this purchase. When I first opened the book, she gave a very concise and to the point summary of her background and why she wrote the book. There are six weeks worth of meal prep meal plans in this book, along with loads of good to know basics about how to recreate some of your favorites in keto form; pancakes, etc. I love that she took the whole meal prep and then mixed it up and gave you the exact shopping list that you would need (and amounts) to create each week's meal prep. I am going to be doing this meal prep on Sunday and it is beyond easy.

The prepping works. It's kept me on track. But there are some issues.
First, I should say that I love that these recipes are just meals that are keto friendly and not some sort of keto frankenstein version of carb-y foods. I was able to double recipes and meal prep for my partner and I and feed us for the week. We have completed week one, and have made a second round of meal prep. We did use different recipes than those listed for week two, because we weren't as interested in eating some of the things listed for week two. I gave this 4 stars because there are some major flaws in the book that you can solve if you already know what you're doing with regards to keto. First thing is portion size. The portions for some of the recipes are strange. For example, the serving during week one for the Keto Egg Salad is 1/3 of the recipe and it comes out to a ton of calories. The thing is, the recipe is great but I would NEVER eat 1/3 of the recipe in one sitting. So, I portioned it out more appropriately and calculated the calories to be appropriate for one meal. I don't understand why it was portioned that way. The second odd thing was the carb count for one of the week two servings. It said 19 NET carbs for one meal! That will certainly have you breaking your diet. I realized this after I made it, and then I did my own calculations based on the ingredients and found that the net carb count was likely half that or less. I am really unclear where these counts are coming from. I would expect a book meant to make keto meal planning easy to not require the reader to know enough about doing keto to recalculate it all. So that was a disappointment. I still gave this four stars because the recipes are actually useable despite the odd portioning and calculations. The print is what's wrong, but not the recipes themselves. My partner who usually far prefers "dirty keto" has enjoyed every meal we've made so far. The chicken for the chicken parmesan is especially great. Also, none of the recipes take a vast knowledge of cooking. One thing I would recommend for a second edition, rather than listing already prepped ingredients in the recipes, include that as part of the prep. It seriously extends the prep time when it doesn't account for slicing meats and chopping veggies.

Amazing content for super low price
This is an AMAZING book for the price. So easy to read, amazing and quick meal prep recipes, and just overall aesthetically pleasing book. Honestly you canโt beat this price and the meal ideas are awesome. Itโs totally changed the way I approach keto and Iโve even started incorporating new grocery staples I never even had tried before (hello, cabbage!) would highly recommend to anyone who is trying keto but has a busy schedule and needs to meal prep and have whole week grocery lists already prepared

Not as Comprehensive as I thought it would be
I bought this book with the intentions of getting my husband and I to start on the Keto Diet. I had heard that keto can get expensive so I liked the idea of getting some help with the meal planning aspect to save some money. we are one week into the meal planning and I already noticed some issues with the book. First, the meal planning is only set for 5 days and there is nothing in the book that mentions what to do for the other two days. Second, the meal planning is set up for only one person but the portions in the recipes don't always match the week plan, so the shopping list amounts are off. For example the Ham and Cheese Muffin recipe says that it makes five servings but when we made them we got 12 large muffins, but the recipe doesn't specifiy how many muffins are in a serving (as 12/5=2.4 muffins???) Additionally, the shopping list calls for 1 jar of mayonnaise, but then the recipes that have mayo all refer to a homemade recipe in the book that you end up not having enough inredients for because they weren't calculated in the original count for the shopping list. Furthermore, the shopping list was missing an ingredient all together. The step by step prep is a little difficult to follow, however the author does state in the introduction that it is something to get used to, so I'm this is something that I will get used to. Finally, the amount of carbs seems to be too high for a keto diet. I base this off on the Keto app that I installed in conjunction with starting this diet and so far every day, I have been going over the recommended amount of carbs and fats and been too low on the amount of protein. But this could be due to the fact that the app is more specialized for my needs in weight loss where the book is meant to be more generalized. All in All I gave the book 3 stars because my husband and I have been seeing weight loss progress and it has helped us get a bit of a handle on the keto diet and the meal prep, however, I probably wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

Pretty great easy to follow!
Very good, easy to follow. I'm on week 1 and it's a good guide line to help you follow. Once you have the hang of it you can easily add or change recipes. Shopping list is great has everything you need, down to tools and cooking wear. I love it!

Exactly what I was looking for!
My favorite Keto book to date - GREAT recipes and meal plans. Simple, easy and flavorful food that is easy to prepare and store. Prep makes staying on top of your macro goals super convenient. The biggest problem is that my household can't keep their fingers off of the bacon ;)

Great book for beginners and pros alike. Lots and lots of recipes for every taste. I use this book day in and day out. I bought this book from the very beginning of starting my keto journey nearly a year ago and to this day like mentioned above I still use it on a daily basis. This book not only covers lots of recipes for different occasions. It gives lots of information on how to prep and store food which is an excellent addition.

I have only good things to say about this book
Keep in mind this is a beginner's book for keto food prep. I dislike grocery shopping and meal planning so this book was good for me the plan and shopping lists are already done for me, which makes budgeting easier also, I like how this book considers those who are training for performance and for maintaining. A couple of weeks of planning for each is enough to get started along with the section of recipes for breakfast lunch and dinner. Thank you for thoughtfully including the measurements and temp conversion charts. I have already been enjoying tasty and satiating meals from this book's recipes.

Easy to use

No guess work, easy and delicious recipes
I really like how organized and laid out this cookbook is. I also enjoy the substitutions Liz gives so that not every meal is heavy with dairy. The recipes I have tried so far are delicious! And the ingredients are easy to track down. It's a big help to have a grocery list week to week. I would recommend this cookbook!

Such a useful book
This book is such a useful fund of information. I am disabled and I do follow a non dairy keto diet. I was finding it a strain having to prepare a meal each evening. The prep at the weekend producing a whole week's, sometimes two weeks worth of meals to freeze working in half hour slots is a god send. Makes me wonder why I didn't do it before. This book just makes it doable. The only moan i have is that the book wasn't better edited as there are quite a few blocks of duplicate pages.
