These strings are phenomenal. Seriously. Expensive, yes, but totally worth it.

Great sound and easy to fit. There are cheaper strings available but you change bass strings infrequently enough to make it worthwhile investing in decent ones like these.

Best bass strings I have ever used.

Lovely strings. Used the normal exl for ages but tried these for the first time. Tone is great out of the packet, without that initial period of being overly bright. Tone and attack pretty consistent across strings and they feel smooth to play. Slightly lower tension (or more flexible maybe) than standard exl which is only downside for me as I like higher tension. That said I reckon I'll stay on these and just adjust technique a bit as I like that the Tone is consistent out of the packet.

Guitat strings are subjective, but I like the sound and playability of these on my old Ibanez Ergodyne EDC700

These are £40 in the guitar shop so getting them on here is yer best option. NYXL are all I use now for my guitars and basses.

First off, bass strings are more expensive than standard electric. There aren't as many customers, which drives up prices, and they use more material, which drives up prices. This pack of bass strings weighs almost three times what a pack of normal strings weigh. So don't let the higher price put you off. There are good reasons for it. Once you get past the price, these are D'Addario strings with all that entails. Good quality, good sound, good lifespan.

Regresé a Daddario con este modelo de cuerdas, lo instalé en mi bajo aproximadamente el 10 de enero, y hoy 13 de julio siguen sonando muy bien, quizá ya no tienen el mismo brillo como cuando eran nuevas, pero después de 6 meses continúan con buen sonido.

Tension legere,action basse sans friser,toucher agreable,je ne joue pas en butee,mais la pince, ,pouce index majeur,douleur a la main,je n ai pas des mains puissantes,surtout l hiver,donc elles sont parfaites,pour ceux qui attaquent fort ce sera trop leger,j avais des rotosound swing bass,45 100, bon son,mais tension plus dure,toucher moins agreable,comme quoi ça ne depend pas que du diametre,mais aussi du materiaux, pour ce qui est des aigus tres presents au debut,il suffit de couper la frequence sur la basse ou l ampli ou les 2.
