DETAIL GUARDZ Dirt Lock Car Wash Insert, Black

I went to home local Lowe's and picked up two 5 gallon buckets one for my dirty water and other for clean water. Having this actually does as advertised it pulls all the dirt and traps it at the bottom of the bucket. Good price and easy to use and fits without issues. It's a bit hard to remove but that says it's doing its job. Don't want it moving around while using it

love these grit guards because they stay in the bucket when i’m dumping water out. they also look great and are made very well! not too bad for the price either and makes protecting your paint from dirt very easy! great for any detailers!

Keeps dirt and grit down at the bottom of your bucket, where gravity deposited it, when you dunk and refresh your wash mitt or sponge or brush into the sudsy water. The durable plastic vanes are designed to keep any swirling water in the upper part of the bucket from disturbing the water at the very bottom layer. I’ve been using a different bucket insert for the past year and didn’t realize what I was missing out on until I bought this Detail Guardz insert. Quick side comment - this thing is PERFECT in a Buc-ees bucket. It fits like it was made for it, and I’m not just being dramatic, Buc-ees buckets have a bump on the bottom that prevents you from using inserts that have a support leg in the center. The Detail Guardz insert doesn’t have this issue and the rubber gaskets fit like a glove. Perfect combo. As mentioned I was previously using a different insert and every single time I emptied the bucket the insert would fall out which annoyed me. The Detail Guardz insert albeit heavier, does not have this issue at all, it fits like a glove because the rubber gaskets and won’t fall out even if I tried. They clearly did not cut corners designing this thing, it’s hard to tell from pics but each “rib” on the insert has a flared shape so that dirt falls to the bottom easily but won’t as easily come back up even with agitation. They even included push tabs in the center that allow you to grip the insert to remove it but still blocks dirt from floating back to the top. Overall very happy with the quality of this. Lastly I’ll mention, if you’re familiar with Obsessed Garage they only use the absolute best of the best and this is the bucket insert they use. For people familiar with OG you’ll know that’s the best piece of evidence you need to know this insert is legit.

I tried spraying water full force at these at the top and then at the bottom, and it was easy to see how much the top lets through but the bottom doesn't. These are a great design and actually do trap dirt. They're awkward to pull out of your bucket, however, as the finger grips are tiny and the the solid design means the traps really stick tight to the edges.

Bon produit, la dernière génération est équipée de pad caoutchouc ajustables sur les pâtes qui reposent au fond de manière à aller dans la plut part des sceau par contre attention à la taille des sceaux. Les Meguiar s par exemple sont limite trop étroit empêchant de sortir la grille sans forcer car du coup c’est enfoncé à force. Donc faite bien attention au fond de vos sceaux avant d’acheter.

Ho visto molti video a riguardo e sembra essere la soluzione migliore x la tecnica dei 2 secchi , prodotto con plastica di qualità e molto resistente grazie a dei gommini sulla circonferenza nn si muove nel secchio facilitando l operazione di strofinatura della spugna o guanto. Il colore è tipo senape. Unica pecca? Il prezzo un pò alto

Das Ding ist einfach Genial! Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!! Ich habe mir den passenden Eimer und somit die Dirt Lock 2x bestellt und wasche nun mein neues Auto nach dem amerikanischen Vorbild. Wer mehr wissen will sollte es sich auf YouTube mal anschauen wie man nach dem zwei Eimer-Prinzip seinauti richtig wäscht ohne Kratzer hinterlassen. Nach der Wäsche kann man deutlich erkennen was für ne Menge Schmutzpartikel unter dem Dirt Lock liegen und somit nicht Heraufgewirbelt werden. Dadurch natürlich auch weniger Schmutzpartikel am waschhandschuh haften bleiben und für Kratzer gesorgt haben. Wer sein KFZ richtig waschen will ohne Kratzer, dem kann ich es nur wärmstens empfehlen!!!
