XBrand 8" Color-Changing LED Mist Indoor Tabletop Fountain, Freestanding Water Feature with Inline Control, Aromatherapy Humidifier, Glass & Metal, Blue

I bought this to replace my circa 1998 concrete 3-tier table fountain, which I was using to put a little moisture in the air in the kitchen, where my houseplants are growing. I stumbled upon this fountain, and chose it because it looks both gorgeous and as if it would take up even less room than my old table sized fountain. Got it, unpacked it, it was a breeze to put together. It has an on/off switch on the cord, which is so much better than having to unplug the unit entirely. It gave off a lot of mist , the colors are a beautiful, rich shade of green-aqua-blue....And unfortunately, there should have been a red color as well . A few of the tiny bulbs were out. The item was otherwise working so well that I really considered just keeping it, but I ultimately decided to return the defective model and replace it with the same product. But then I discovered that Canary has, for the same price as this unit, an otherwise identical model with a remote control! So I bought that one, which arrived today. The new unit was up and running in about 2-3 minutes flat, all the colors are working great, as is the remote, there's 16 different color features for blending colors, having only one stationary color ,having no color, 9 different mist settings....Unfortunately, there is no green color. This one is blue-red-yellow, not blue-red-green....And the green on the other unit really was a gorgeous shade of deep emerald, especially when it was running in an otherwise darkened room.Sigh.... I have tried to give the cons (no remote, no green) and the pros (everything else!) about both units. A remote is great, but an on/off switch on the cord is still pretty darn convenient. Both are quiet, colorful, and give off a lot of mist. According to my pocket humidity tester, these units raise the moisture in the air percentage in their proximity from 39-40% to 44-45%. No idea of exact range, but I have placed my unit in the middle of a large credenza, on which I have 10 herbs in pots growing. I believe it has enough range to cover that space, and the tester seems to confirm this. Hopefully that'll be enough to keep my poor plants happy until they can go outside again. I highly recommend either model, and I will probably wind up buying that floor stand model for the living room. The plants in there deserve a little more moisture too. :-)

I bought this as a gift for a family member who is a therapist. We put it in her office and it works beautifully (I use the office on occasion for consulting). The item is very sturdy and is much more attractive than the photograph on Amazon. The mist is very soothing and relaxing aesthetically. The diffuser works well with all varieties of essential oils and has a very calming effect. The red, green, or blue lights on the diffuser give off just enough subtle light without looking cheap or gaudy. We've had this running, almost on a daily basis, for over 8 months and it is still the perfect touch for the professional, calming ambience that we needed for the office. I'm considering purchasing one for my home office.

This is a love/hate relationship. I love how it looked and worked the first time I used it... Everyone who was at my home that evening wanted one... BUT the next time I filled it, it began to leak. It leaked all over the wood floor, and ruined the parquet. :( The plug will NOT stay secure in the hole...it pops right out, and if it's in tight, it drips anyway. Maybe a cork would have worked better. TOTAL WASTE OF $!! ...unfortunately, it's unusable... But it was very cool and pretty at first. I never write reviews, but in this circumstance, I wanted to warn other people about this issue. Terrible design, poor quality...Seriously, they've got to know this doesn't work, so why don't they fix the problem?

would definitely give this 5 stars except the splash guard came shattered and unfortunately since i have been bed ridden for several days today was the first time I could open it and check it out so it is past the return time policy for amazon. Love the bowl, it is actually blue and swirled so its beautiful on or off, and not just a light blue film covering it like the one i previously gotten by another company where after i washed it the bowl was actually white. I already have a very sturdy stand and brought this to replace the previously cheaply made bowl that was so thin it broke while i was washing it. At least i kept the parts from the other one so even though the splash guard does not match i can still use this, Plan on purchasing more for Christmas gifts through the same company because i love the quality, but hope my future purchases aren't damaged. I did use a mixture of tap and distilled water and it puts out a beautiful rolling fog that my plants i have sitting around it love and at night when i just want to relax i turn off the TV and just have this along with my flame-less candles going.. so soothing and calming after a hectic day. I also put some drops of scented oil in it and the aroma just floats through the house like the fog.

Love this product. The plug that stops the water and let's the power cord to the pump was hard to put in and leaked several times but after pushing the plug in very hard it seems to be holding as long as I don't move the power cord. The misting fountain works great and love putting essential oils in the water so the smell gets through the whole room. Love the noises and colors. Would recommend this.

Absolutely love this mister. After about 8 month of usage, it just decided to no longer work. I tried contacting the manufacturer from my original order but that company was gone and not able to contact. Tried emailing, no reply. Contacted Walmart since the product does have a 1 year warranty. I also did some research on their site and found the exact product but it was showing a different company as the seller than my original order. I spoke with customer service, told them the origiinal company was no longer in business but I did see where the same product is being sold on their site but a different seller or possibly the SAME seller but now with a different company name. Amazon sent out an exchange/replacement at no charge and was extremely prompt in doing so. I guess the bad news, you can't always depend on everything/everyone to be reputable but you can depend on Amazon to do the right thing.

I like the product . It looks beautiful and it works!!!! I almost give up on it and returned .... I assemble the fountain and plug in and it didn't start... Only lights works so I thought is broken send back to oryginal seller from canary asking for replacement. I revive it in 5 days as they promised . And hooked up again the mist maker . I use tap water as they ask and nothing again !!!! I had direct Number to one of the menager and was able to get in touch with John who actually was kind and nice and explained me problem with water chemistry ! I add some shells to tap water to help the water get some more minerals and leave the fogger over night and day . Evening I put on and works perfectly thanx again !!!!

The best buy I've had. Love it. It is just as in the photo. But pay attention to the size it is a bit larger than what appears in the photos. As for installation, there are two rubber pieces, i stuffed the rounded big piece in the hole at the bottom of the bowl, the other circular piece was almost useless, but i put it on the outer side of the bowl to support the first rubber piece. It worked great. Do not know how long it will last though.

Nice product.... but it is a little problem: IT DOESN''T WORK! It says that has two levels of mist but actually the motor only switch on and off the lights and nothing else. it was supposed to be a present so being dissapointed we didn't want to take the chance for another unit.
