If you are a plushy lover, you will almost certainly become obsessed with these chonky, squishy, very good bois. I purchased the all black one and the cream with brown and black one here on Amazon last fall, and I get it — I initially balked at the price of these, too. $30/$40 for a small plush cat? Come on, right? I had them in my cart for several months because I was so drawn to them and really wanted them, but I just couldn’t justify the cost for what I was getting. And then I checked eBay and began price-tracking, and I realized very quickly that these are highly sought after and often sell for higher (sometimes much higher) than the cost here — they’re imported from Japan and they’re high-quality. (And there’s a niche community on Instagram for lovers of these — some really cute accounts!) So, I gave in and took a chance and bought both of the ones here on Amazon. And I became absolutely obsessed with them. My husband started calling them my ‘emotional support cats’ because I always had one on my shoulder or in my arms when we’d watch TV or read or play video games. 😄 After that I quickly found myself on a journey to complete my collection of the medium sized, natural colored cats, and as you can see from my photo, I did just that.All of my others were imported directly from Japan — some through eBay where I paid more than I care to admit (but it was worth it to me), and some from other places. I have also ordered large and extra large directly from the manufacturer in Japan. What you need to understand is that international shipping from Japan is often costly and can take weeks or even months, depending. By buying one here, though more expensive than retail, you are benefiting from free shipping through Amazon, and you are likely getting it within a day or two. It all started with the misplaced stuffed polar bear. After mourning over the loss of it, I finally got another cuddle companion. A rather realistic baby doll. He was my child..my love.. But over some misunderstandings, I had to throw him away. Heart broken from my 2 losses I set on a quest to find another cuddle buddy. I've always wanted an adorable kitten that I can hug all day while watching anime and eating sushi so when I saw this plush my heart cried. Who cares about the price!! Said my heart. I was destined to be with this cat. Desperate to be with this beauty, I check all the reviews and look at all the photos to see that...THERES A BLACK ONE!? THATS IT. IM GETTING IT. Screamed my heart. And OH BOY you won't BELIEVE how I felt when I saw that...ITS COMING FROM JAPAN!? i know i already said this,, but THATS IT. IM SOLD. Well boys, to sum it up..I bought it. And fell in love. I sleep with him every night and even named him Nomai Marshal Lee Kokoro Caceres. I might even buy his adorable siblings.

I purchased both the calico and the black cat! They stand at about 9-inches when sitting, the perfect size for cuddling or having on a shelf. If you're a fan of Squishmallows, you'll 100% love these; They have the same super soft fabric for their bodies, and what seems to be polyester-fiber stuffing.They have a small little bean pouch on their bottoms to allow them to sit up, without being too heavy or overbearing, I'd say the pouch is about 2 inches maybe? It adds a tiny bit of weight to be the perfect companion to hold!They have derpy little faces and firm but not heavy heads, it won't weigh them down and have them tilt over on their side.If I could give them higher than 5 stars I would, they're expensive but they're very durable! Personally, I believe they're worth the price. If you're unsure about what you're purchasing, ALWAYS read the description! If you're upset about the size, it's not the companies fault, it's yours for not reading!Recommended for anyone who has some money available to treat themselves or a loved one!

When I stumbled upon this little cat, I felt like I had come upon a great treasure. This plush looks EXACTLY like my brother's cat, right down to the pudgy wrinkles, tired eyes, and slouched sitting position. I just had to get it! Though a bit pricey, it's good quality and soft. The only reason this did not get that 5th star is that it is smaller than I had imagined, even with the picture given in the item description. I was hoping for something larger that was a bit more realistically cat-sized, but I am still happy with it. There was a mention of Medium and Large sizes, but no option to choose. The item arrived super quickly, a full 2 weeks earlier than I anticipated. Thank you, Naruto!

My grand daughter loves this cat! She had a solid black kitten that disappeared, and it was heartbreaking for her. I bought her this cat to sleep with and he's a winner! Well made and soft enough to squish up to you when you sleep. She named him "Raisin" just like her lost kitten.

Absolutely adorable!! Very soft squishy body and not to mention super soft! The pictures don't do them justice! Mine is named Billy!! The price is perfect, don't forget these are imported, this would cost much more buying from a japanese seller overseas ex. on Ebay, a must have for all cat lovers!

This little guy is with me whenever i m sleeping. 1 of my fur-babies was re-homed, and this cutie is conforting to hold as i nod off. Excellent construction. Good attention to detail;seams and other details sewn tight, no unraveling. Even my other cats sleep next to him. Maybe they think he's come back as this guy.

We thought he would be bigger, given the high price. This is a small cat. Not worth the price!
