love love it, wanted this for ages, thought about cheaper versions but settled in the quality this brand is famous for, used for chocolate with marshmallows with the grandkids and =very successful , the adults Arte looking forward to the cheese, to be honest probably will be used more in winter , brilliant quality highly recommended

Only criticism is it can be a bit annoying to clean, but other than that it's basically faultless. I also like that you can directly make the fondue in the pan on a hob, rather than having to transfer the molten cheese. Also works for chocolate fondue, but chocolate seems to be more sensitive to temperature than cheese and I've found it a little challenging to control the temperature correctly.

This is a beautiful, high quality fondue set. The 18cm cast iron pot is hob and oven safe, so can be used for regular cooking as well as fondue, thus this can be used any time as an extra, smallish cast iron cooking pot. The versatile cooking pot means that this needn’t become one of those gadgets that lurks in the kitchen, getting used almost non-stop for about a fortnight after it’s first bought, and then not coming out again for months at a time! Lipstick red colour is vivid and well-finished. Enamelled lining is easy to clean after use. The combination of the cast iron pot and stand feels really sturdy in use - I like this a lot better than my Mum's vintage 70s hammered copper fondue set, which is a lot lighter and feels easy to knock over. The set consists of: - cast iron stand and burner holder - cast iron pot - cast iron pot lid with grooves around the edge for resting forks - burner gel holder with lid - 6 stainless steel forks with smooth, wooden handles, and different coloured plastic inset pieces in the ends (so that users can keep track of their own fork)

Nice but a bit strange it comes with only 6 forks rather than the eight spaces

I took ages to choose this fondue because I wanted one for 1-2 people, not a huge one and a lot of them are large. This is great. Just over 1L capacity bowl means you can do a cheese fondue for 1 or 2 people and it’s not lost in the bottom of the fondue dish. It will of course serve enough for 4 when full. Love cast iron cookware and this looks really sturdy and also the glazed bowl means I know that however stuck on the cheese looks afterwards, it will come clean easily. If you want a smaller fondue, then this could well be the one for you. Resist cheaper version - you get what you pay for!
