On Materialism and Idealism On Materialism and Idealism was first published by Adam Weishaupt in 1786, and has long been considered to be one of his philosophical works. After the publication of the Secret School of Wisdom, the Authentic Ritual and Doctrines of the Illuminati, it has been discovered, to in fact be the completion of the Docetist degree of the Illuminati. This degree was the second highest degree in the ritual system of the Illuminati, and contemplates the existence of God and the immortality of the soul through logical secular reasoning. Explore the refined and completed philosophical treatise originally intended to be read by a select few within the inner circle of the Order. The Collected Works of Adam Weishaupt For the first time in history, The Collected Works of Adam Weishaupt, offers the world access to the complete published writings of Adam Weishaupt, in English, French, and the original German. These important texts were originally published in Germany and in very limited quantities in the late eighteenth century, and have heretofore been largely inaccessible to humanity. The series explores the thoughts, ideas, and philosophy of Adam Weishaupt, and provides context and critical insight into his very essence and by extension the Order of the Illuminati from the founder's perspective. Historians, Philosophers and the public in general will find a rich tapestry of ideas to explore and contemplate. Nice book - but not for everyone. Only if you have knowledge of the philosophic aspects of what A. Weisshaupt wrote back in time, you still have to take your time and read almost every sentence twice. I found a lot of โloose endsโ in this book. if we can only comprehend things in terms of cause and effect, then we can only know causes and effects. (Kant) Weisshaupt use German as a language of scholarly instruction and research, among other fields of economics and law as academic disciplines, he concentrated especially in these fields, giving advice on practical matters to people in government and the royal upper class, and stressing the professional nature of university education. Weisshaupt is noted for his optimism and tries to justify the apparent imperfections of the world by claiming that it is optimal among all possible worlds. I guess that a lot of text was probably copied & paste and translated from the hypothetic and philosophic Old German (Alt Deutsch) language from the 1800 which makes it very difficult to translate and understandable into the language we speak today. I would have wished to see that the Autor would have made it a little easier and explained, with a few more definitions, for those that are not familiar with the language of the craft and the time these words were written down under the philosophical aspects of that time and what Weishaupts actual point was with his Illuminati .

If you've ever had stoner friends - this is their 'deep' ramblings put onto paper. WARNING: To those who were hoping this is a 'moralism vs materialism' (in the Julius Evola sense) sort of work - it isn't. The fact this guy was the head of the Illuminati, proves why the original Illuminati fell apart - as it admits that even his own members were attempting to nicely tell him he doesn't know what he's talking about.
