This product does a fine job eliminating a variety of parasites such as fish lice, etc. However there is information been propogated via the internet that it will eliminate snail infestation in your pond. I had such a problem that I battled for the better part of a year before being told to apply Dimillin. I applied multiple doses to my 4000 gallon Koi pond and while it did appear to reduce the number of snails it was not effective at totally eradicating them. So why did I give a 5-star rating? Because the product does not claim to eradicate snails. All the claims by the manufacturer are factual. This is effective at eliminating a broad spectrum of fish parasites. Criticizing the product for not doing something it never claimed to do it unfair. Do your research, read the label and follow the directions. Don't take heresay on the internet from so-called "experts". The manufacturer clear states what this product is useful for. Use outside of it's stated use is risky at best and downright foolish in most instances.

I had grammas in my pond, which are micro shrimp, which live in my filter box and is impossible to get rid of and causes so much filth with their discharge that it clouds the water. They arrive via my lilies, which I introduced or bird droppings. This is the ONLY thing that works according to pond experts. In fact, you cannot buy the powder form, only this diluted formula. Easy to use and only need a little to work and a follow up a week later. The water is cleared immediately and most aren't aware of grammas as there isn't much information on the internet. Luckily, I spoke to experts, who guided me to this product.

We live in a lake and are always getting snakes, frogs and turtles in our koi pond. I’m guessing where we occasionally get fish lice. We were using another product that worked, but at twice the recommended dosage and more than twice the cost. Picked up a 100 ml syringe to dose our 8500 pond. Doesn’t seem to bother the fish and no traces of fish lice after two doses.

This stuff is fantastic for removing parasites. Easy to use.

I have a 9,000 gallon pond. I used the recommended dosage but was not able to kill all the lice. Eventually started dosing the full dosage every day for a week. Fish were so irritated from the lice, they developed sores. I then treated Proform-C to help with the sores. No Dimilin-X during this treatment because worried about mixing medicines. Now fish are again covered with baby lice. Very frustrating. I just put in a tripple dose of Dimilin-X but have now used up the whole 1/2 gallon bottle. Not sure if I should buy another bottle and just triple the recommended dose or go with another product. Update: tripple recommended dosage seems to work. Two adults still visible on fish but no babies in the sieve! I still need to dose one more time but do not have enough for an additional 3X dose.

Worked fantastic with three applications! We have a 50k gallon tank that we put 22 very large rescued koi in that were infested with anchor worms, this product was excellent. Came faster that it said it would. More cost effective than other product for size of treatment needed. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

Loved the fast shipping as we already had one koi die of lice. We are now on our second water change and haven't seen any more lice on them. Thank you for the fast shipping and it was also packaged very well.

This product does not kill adult lice, possibly the eggs but not sure. Dimilin powder is the best for killing the adult lice.
