Are the caplets large or hard to swallow?

They aren't caplets or capsules. They are tablets. It really depends on the individual to decide for themselves. I can swallow multiple caps & tabs at the same time so one is no problem. I suggest putting any hard to swallow pills, tabs, or caps, at the back or your tongue and tilting head back with a gulp of water when u have less air in your lungs. It will make it easier to swallow. U can always crush it up and put it in a smoothie or something? Other than than that, this is a good product. Hope it works out for ya...
