You'll love the easy set up and the sim arm is very life like and detailed, and the veins are in the correct anatomical positions for both dorsal (back of the hand) & ventral (cubital fossa) surfaces. There is a give-feel on entering the vein and there are multiple locations to practice IV starts & draws on including: 1. The veins on the hands 2. The lower part of inside arm 3. The veins near the elbow creating a perfect real life experience. LONG-LASTING DURABILITY. The veins automatically reseal after every needle stick. The height of the reservoir / iv bag (a higher position will create more pressure in the veins which increases the chance of getting a flashback). 2. The gauge size of the needle. Small diameter needles 23 G and up, is less likely to give a clear flashback, 22 and lower (bigger needle lumen) is better for flashback, but it damages the tubes more and reduces the number of sticks that are possible before the arm starts to leak.
