Can't Live Without It Now
I bought this towel nearly a year ago now, and was just looking into getting a second one for use when this one is in the wash. I have very thick hair that takes ages to dry and this really cuts down on drying time for me. It doesn't dry my hair completely, of course, but it does a great job of taking my hair from soaking wet to damp. My only possible criticism is the size. When I first got the towel my hair was about 6 inches shorter than it is now and I couldn't fit the towel around my head with all my hair in it. Now that I've cut my hair to a more reasonable, shoulder length - the size is no problem. So, if you have very long hair you may have a little frustration with it. Here's what works great for me - I give my hair a few squeezes with my regular bath towel right after my shower to soak up a good amount of water, and then I apply serums / leave in conditioners / hair oils (whatever I'm using that day), then I wrap my hair snugly in this towel and leave it while I apply my moisturizer / makeup. Once that is done I take my hair out of this towel and comb it out and it's ready for blow-drying. Totally essential to my daily routine, now.

Great for Curly Girl Method!
I wouldn't use it as a body towel (don't know why others are asking), but I found it an excellent tool for adhering to the Curly Girl Method. Along with following the Curly Girl Method, this hair towel has made a significant difference to my medium-length curly hair. No more frizz (only a bit at the crown where I touch my hair to lift it, but that's human error). I've not used it as a regular towel to just run over hair and go, but in such cases I can guess that microfiber towels might not be what those folks expect. However, for Curly Girl Method followers, this towel is ideal. For those curly heads not having luck with this towel, here's what works for me and my curls: In the shower, I do my final conditioner rinse with my head tilted forward so that gravity is holding my head of hair downward; in that position, after turning off the shower faucet I scrunch out as much water as possible with my hands (while still in the shower). Upon exiting the shower, head still tilted down, I grab the microfiber towel and begin scrunching out more water, which the towel absorbs well. Next, I "plop" my wet curls into the center of the towel and wrap the towel around my head (this towel is large enough to cover all of my medium-long hair), flip the towel ends to the back of my neck, and clip it to stay in place. Then I get dressed, after which I remove the towel, scrunch in mousse, and again "plop" my curls into the towel and wrap it same as above. At this stage, I go about applying my makeup to let my curls set in the towel a bit longer, but any 15(ish)-minute task would do. Finally, I remove the towel and use a diffuser (hanging head downward, and alternating sides) for about 5 minutes to dry my curls the rest of the way. Afterward, I use a bit of hair spray at the crown for lift . . . and done. I love the way my curls turn out using this method. For anyone wondering why I don't just do this with a regular terrycloth towel: I have for years, and with poor results. Without the above my hair takes about 30 minutes to dry, and using a terrycloth towel creates frizz and less curls/more waves. I'm guessing the weight of a terrycloth towel also may stifle the curls. So, if you're looking for some miracle towel that completely dries your hair in an instant, this is not it--I doubt such a product even exists. But if you're looking for a towel to reduce your drying time, or if you're looking for a microfiber towel to follow the Curly Girl Method, for me this towel does the job. In fact, I like this towel so much that I bought two more to minimize reuse.

Less frizz, what's not to love?
Took a friends advice & ordered this to try & help combat my thick mess I call hair. My hair is thick, slightly wavy & about shoulder blade length, takes 24 hours at least to dry on it's own. This towel soaks up the water from my hair with ease, cutting my dry time in half. I don't like to use a hair dryer, I prefer to air dry for best results. This towel has made it so that I can do that & keep my natural curls in easily! I wish it were just a little wider, the ends of my hair do tend to stick out. It would also be nice if there were a button or something I could clip the ends into to keep it upright on my head - I have to adjust it just so to keep it in my place. I usually shower and then watch a half hour show while I let it rest in the towel before moving on with my day. But these are little changes, the product itself works as intended & I'm enjoying my new less-frizzy hair!

Worth every damn penny!!!! (I have a TON of hair and it dried it so much faster). Take my money already (again)!!!
I was nervous about spending the listed amount of money for a towel meant only for my hair. Worth every damn penny!!!! 1. I have a TON of hair and it is SUPER long. So much so that the large size doesn't cover the ends (about 2-3 inches). Keep in mind that not only do I have a ton of hair but it is about 2 inches above the top of my butt (I am 5' 5"). I wish there was an extra large version but that is my only gripe and it still deserves 5 stars. 2. Because I have a crap ton of hair it take FOR-E-VER to dry. I will wash my hair the night before and it is still pretty darn wet in the morning. Last night I used this towel and my hair was only slightly damp in the morning. For me - this is a HUGE improvement. I'm sure others with normal amounts of hair would have even better results - like their hair would be dry. I have eczema on my hands and hate the feeling of microfiber towels so I was hesitant to get this. This one feels softer than other microfiber towels I have - plus my hands are wet/moisturized enough after taking a shower that touching the towel isn't an issue (Eczema peeps know what I'm taking about. #thestruggleisreal). I'm getting another one so I can dry my soaking wet hair out of the shower and then "plop" my hair overnight with a dry towel. Take my money!!! I only wish they offered it in more colors so it could match the towels in my bathroom (like solid dark grey and solid cranberry). I also wish this line starts to offer waffle weave options and bath towel size options. I need that extra large size for my hair but I might actually like to use this as a bath towel.

Never going back to the Turbie Twist
I have curly/wavy hair. It has been quite a process learning to properly wash and style. So far the best advice I've gotten is to never dry my hair with terry cloth. Since then I haven't looked back. First I tried using T-shirts to dry my hair. It was adequate in that it didn't cause unneccessary frizz and breakage, but it wouldn't dry my hair as well as I'd hoped. Then, I tried using the Turbie Twist. I used it for a few years in spite of its many flaws. It did mostly dry my hair without the frizz and breakage. Still, my main problem was after one time of drying my hair I would find it smelling like mildew. It was even worse when I actually put hair product in my hair beforehand. I wash my hair more often that I did laundry, so I ended up having to juggle three of these towels just to dry my hair. I had to buy a new one about every 6 months because they would end up tearing at the seam. After breaking yet another one of my Turbie Twists, I decided to put my foot down and find something that would suit me better. Some research led me to the DuraComfort towel. After seeing the reviews I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. I did, however, want to experiment with the towel before I typed up a review. This towel can absorb a lot more moisture than the Turbie Twist and my hair dries faster. I found that I was able to dry my hair hair 5 times without the mildew smell. It didn't smell at all really; I just felt that 5 times was more than enough. I was also able to dry my hair after applying hair product 5 times without a smell either. It is safe to say that I am more than satisfied with this towel. I still have two surviving Turbie Twists, but I think I will save them for travel until they eventually tear at the seams.

Only works for short hair, hard to wrap, lightweight
As the product claims, it actually does decrease drying time and decreases frizz. I’m 5’2 and when my hair reached my belly button this towel did not work. I don’t have thick hair and it was hard to keep the towel on my hair in a wrap. The wrap easily fell apart and it did not keep all my hair in see picture with my long hair not in the wrap. Weight: The weight is MUCH less than most towels. I cut my hair and now it is slightly past shoulder length and this towel works much better. It stays on my head longer and all my hair is wrapped inside the towel. The frizz is truly less and it may even leave my hair slightly softer. When you go to bed with wet hair, you may have noticed that the hair closest to your neck is softer and less frizzy compared to the hair that hits the pillow. Well this towel gives the same effect to hair (soft with minimal frizz). The dimensions of the towel are slightly off. My towel was an inch shorter. When I had long hair this was important because I was struggling to make the towel work. Now it doesn’t matter much. They should change the description to match the product. Overall: Great towel if you have short hair, but difficult to keep it in a head wrap.

better than expected
Hello, I hope this review helps any shoppers who are still deciding whether to get this towel, or not. I love the towel overall. I have extremely curly hair...about 3B/4A. I've been using another hair product and so I did my research to find a good microfiber towel. The difference was noticeable...not only are my curls bouncy and formed, but there is not much frizz. Besides some at the top of my head but that's probably because I don't use as much product there. I still get compliments! I love how big it is. While my hair is wet it reaches the same length as my underarms. When it's dry it reaches my shoulder. The towel is big enough to wrap my entire head, twist it then fold it back on my head. How I use it (best result): I used to use it as a wrap around my head but it left my hair limp. The towel did as it was told, but the other method that works best is s crunching your hair with a towel. I do this after I apply product into my hair. 10/10 If your hair doesn't come out looking like you want it don't blame solely the towel. Do research on the hair products your using, and even diet.

Cuts my drying time in half, soft and gentle fabric for the hair.
The fabric really does work! I was amazed at not only how well it removed the excess water but that it didn't dry out my hair negatively. It speeds up my drying and styling time and on days I air dry my hair I have noticed my drying time literally cut in half!! To be fair I do have very thin and fine hair so it might not be as drastic for those with thicker hair. The only thing I found a bit frustrating is if you want to tie your hair up in the towel like a turban it is just an inch or two small. I don't have a lot of hair yet I found the towel unraveling when I wrapped it up. But if you only use the towel like a normal towel just manually drying the hair it works wonderfully and if you do want to tie it up a hair clip helped me to keep the towel in place. Pros: Fabric is soft and gentle Works to dry hair fast! Great price and easily comparable to higher priced Aquis Cons: May be too small in size for those with thicker hair who want to wrap their hair up

Beautiful Towel
This towel is a perfect size, has a lovely feel to it and the quality is good. I purchased three microfiber hair towels to see which one I liked the best. I love this one and also the Bondi one. The third one I purchased was the Aquis large towel, however it wasn’t as big as the other two and I didn’t like the feel of it.

Fabulous!
Extremely absorbent - you do not need to leave it on your head for long. Leaves hair feeling soft and prevents frizz. Large enough for long hair (mine is half way down my back). The towel dries quickly. Lightweight and compact and comes in a lovely carry bag with a hair clip included - very helpful for travelling.

Good Buy
Good buy overall. Great for drying hair with - I cant use normal towels on my hair anymore after using this. Speeds up the drying process tremendously. Only thing that could be better is the size, esp. for someone with longer hair. It's small, so doesn't cover the tips of my hair when I tie up my wet hair in it.

Better than a turban
Great size, very absorbent. Currently nothing like it on the market.

Genial
La eficacia de la toalla increíble. Tengo mucho pelo y muy largo y me ha reducido mucho el tiempo de secado, pero además el pelo queda muy bonito y disciplinado sin peinarlo con secador o plancha. Todo un descubrimiento!!!
