This is a super weather station. It's easy to set up. It tells me the temperature and humidity inside and outside and is correct! It also has 3 light settings, so I keep it on bright during the day and dim it at night. The 3rd setting is very dim; if you are a light sleeper you may want to use this instead of the 2nd setting when you're sleeping. It also has the day and date. The display is large & easy to read, even from a distance. I replaced one that didn't work as well with this one & am very happy with it. I highly recommend!

I tried many other clocks and weather stations. None are like this one. This one works well. It is well built. I bought my first one 6 years ago and it is still going strong. I bought this one for my man sports cave. It is 100% accurate unlike those knock off ones. The remote unit works 200 feet away. Very bright display with three modes to choose. It is perfect. No issues. Very easy to set up. Just set the time and the rest is automatic. It does take 24 hours to sync so be patient. The only thing that I don't like it's the angle is hard to see the blue humidity when sitting down. I only care about the temperature and glad that it's white in color. I do wish it was bigger for my man cave which is 40 feet long. It's hard to see that far away. Highly recommend.

I am requesting a warranty replacement. I really liked this from the beginning, though I saw some reviews were not fully positive. The unit worked very well for 8 months, never lost connection, but now the remote reading is 10 to 15 degrees F too low, even when placed directly next to the inside unit. UPDATE June 6, 2025: I corresponded online with LaCrosse, and their customer service was highly impressive. They were thorough and responsive in troubleshooting the issue with the remote sensor, and within the day they were sending out a replacement sensor. In a matter of just a couple of days, I received the replacement sensor and it's working fine. Thank you, LaCrosse!

This is a HUGE upgrade from the piece of junk I bought from Walmart a few years ago. The display is bright and the remote sensor worked as soon as I put in the batteries. The one this replaced always had a problem communicating with the sensor and the past few months I was going through batteries like crazy. This one at least has an AC adapter and just that feature alone makes it worth buying it. There are videos on YouTube that show how to set this up too, in case you don't like to read directions. Two and half year update: I bought this in April 2017 and if worked flawlessly. I've only had to change the batteries once in that time until recently. Just a few days ago I had to change the batteries again. After jumping through all the hoops to do that to make it work again (take out the batteries from both the station and remote, unplug the station, press any button at least 20 times and leave it unplugged for 15 minutes), which there is no documentation on unless you happen to find this instruction on their youtube channel, my remote only works for a day or two and I have to repeat the process. So it's clear to me I have to buy either a new remote for over $25 of a new station and remote for $65. Yes, two and a half years is a long time but I think this should have lasted a lot longer since there are no moving parts, just electronics. The remote doesn't even look water proof since when I first opened it a few days ago, there was water in it. You'd think they'd make these things water proof, or at least water resistant. But oh, you can buy the weather-proof case for these remotes for $18.

I bought the Lacrosse technology 308-1414MB after some research on an affordable and yet accurate weather station. the LaCrosse ended up being the one right on the spot. the display is shiny bright big and clear with adjustable brightness (3 levels of brightness) temperature readings are extremely accurate and the humidity adjusts in real time. the stations features also a trend that forecasts the changes based on the previous readings. It's shipped with a remote wireless sensor for outdoor readings that collects both temperature and humidity levels as well. It was shipped to me with a faulty sensor, that got replaced immediately by LaCrosse in no time, the guys were extremely professionals, they provided me with tons of info on how to troubleshoot, set and operate the station. I didn't, actually even need to ask them, until I received another mail informing me that they had already shipped a replacement sensor. The weather station is now sitting on my living wireless connected to the sensor on my balcony providing accurate readings.

Shows inside temp and humidity as well as outside temp, humidity, rain forecast and time. Love it on my wall. Outside sensor is easy to hang out of the sun. Lasts for 7-8 years or more. I now have 2, one at each outside door. Love these❣️ Very dependable😀

Gave it to my son for Christmas. He is crazy about it. Got me 5 starts this year! The size is good. The options of setting it up like a picture frame or hanging on a wall is great! I got another to set on my kitchen counter. The numbers are easy to read and we are enjoying the Weather Station as it gives us a good forecast for the next 12 hours. It tells you humidity which is important in Florida. Alert alarms can be set to tell you when things get too high or too low indoors or outdoors. Good if your have delicate plants or animals that you do not want to freeze or overheat. Of course the time, day and date is always wonderful and it is also an alarm clock. This seems to be a great package all in beautiful attractive color. EASY to see ... much better than most digital automatic clocks.

The unit worked great for about 3 weeks. This replaced a unit in the Master Bedroom that was also a La Crosse, but an older different model. Today I noticed the outdoor Temperature was not displaying. I replaced batteries in the remote sensor, the unit would still not recognize the remote sensor. I unplugged the main unit, and removed the new batteries from the remote. Moved the main unit next to front door (about 3 feet from sensor) and replaced new batteries in the Sensor. It's been about 30 minutes and still not recognizing sensor. My other two La Crosse units (older different models) work fine, one upstairs and one downstairs. I just can't seem to get any of them to work in the Master Bedroom. The problems started about 6 months ago, even with the older units. I don't mind paying for quality, but I wish there was an accurate rating for how well the base units & remotes work. Not just in distance, but in how many walls, windows, or ceilings the signal can be detected.

El monitor esta muy bien solo que el sensor remoto NO transmite cuando la temperatura supera los 35 grados centígrados, a pesar de que el sensor esta en su protector, abajo de esta temperatura todo muy bien, lo acabo de adquirir, espero que me puedan cambiar el sensor por uno que funcione correctamente en todo el rango que se indica en su hoja técnica.

Decided to replace an earlier model from Lacrosse that stopped displaying the outside/remote sensor information. I was pleased with the older model's quality and performance so I didn't hesitate to consider another Lacrosse product. PROS 1) After installing this unit, it began performing as expected. 2) I found that the remote sensor had a MUCH greater range than my previous model; almost twice the range. 3) The unit's accuracy is quite good with both the temperature and humidity within 1% to 2% when compared to more accurate equipment I own. 4) The sensor of the new unit began sending its signal to my old unit and it started to work properly again. So...I now have two working units. CONS 1) The prices of weather units has doubled in the last 5 years. I cannot fathom a "non-greed" reason to justify such an increase. 2) The new unit feels a fair bit flimsier than my previous unit. The new unit is larger than my old one yet weighs noticeably less. 3) The screen on the new unit is much thinner than the old unit. When I touch the new unit's screen, the display distorts temporarily; no such distortion with my old unit. 4) The display is slightly less bright than the past model. Not to a point that it can't be seen adequately but enough to be noticeable. 5) The viewing angles of the new unit are a fair bit less than the old unit (both vertically and horizontally). This compounds the brightness problem even more. Overall and historically, Lacrosse makes good and accurate products. I'm somewhat disappointed to see such an increase in price and decrease in quality. That said, it does its job and it's performance/accuracy is still good.
