Athalon Fitted Snowboard Bag

Either advertise as only usable for one time transporation or actually make something durable enough to handle the sharp edges of a snowboard/skis. Used once to go out of the country and definitely would not be able to use this bag again. Actually a joke how pathetic the material is. Holes EVERYWHERE after one use. Waste of money unless you only need to use it for one trip.

This case is great for the money. I bought to replace an older case which airport bag loaders likely ripped on my last flight.Protip: This bag WILL rip too if you do not take a couple precautions. Wrap your snowboard in clothes or towels. There is no padding some you must make some your self. The bag has ample room for my board, bindings, boots, helmet goggles, jacket, pants, AND a couple towels/cardboard wrappings. It's huge! Be sure to wrap both ends and middle as those areas are likely where tears will start.

I Love this bag. It's made from sturdy material, has solid zippers and has a front pocket for tools or other items you may want to carry. MY only complaint is that it only comes in size 170cm. I wish it had greater options for the little boarders

Yes, this bag is huge.. wayyyyy too big for my board. The graphic is sweet, though. I even thought about altering it so I could make it fit my board a little better, but it wouldn’t work the way it is made. Lots of room to stuff in more gear, like all of it, but doesn’t seem sturdy enough the be handle a lot of weight. Sadly, I am returning it.

fits all my gear with extra room to spare. I am going to be checking this through the airport here in a couple weeks - will update as to how it does going through all that jazz. Otherwise - the look is great, it feels durable enough, there is no padding, the colors are vibrant, great for the price.

Sadly this didn't work for me. Bag ripped after just one use in the car.

This is a great bag. Everyone remarks on the style. It's big enough to carry all my gear. Sitting in the bed of the pickup on the way up to the mountain, everything stays dry and protected. As others have noted, it is NOT padded so I wouldn't subject a valuable board to baggage handlers and the TSA without additional padding. But it's a great bag for driving back and forth to the mountain.

Love the bag, BUT, had to add my own padding(I was ready for that, thanks to the other reviewers!) nothing a couple of bath towels couldn’t fix. Without the padding, the edges of your board could cut thru the bag material.

I just got this in today. On a sunday... :DAnyways, I actually couldn't wait to review this product.First of all I have to say the fact that I got in on sale for a little over 50$ adds to the star and happiness factor.With that said, The product is great for what I needed!Its more or less fully water proof.Although it does not come with padding ( for out of country travel and what ever else ) I don't need padding since I only go on day trips.The design in really nice (night vision) and of higher quality then i expected.As well it comes with a pocket (other bags in the 50 price zone do not!)Its also big enough to hold my boots and helm which is a BIG plus.I haven't used it yet but I will soon with no doubt in my mind ill be happy with it.AND the zippers are BEER BOTTLE OPENERS !!! (but whos going to use that while snowboarding or driving).

Well made in terms of material and craftsmanship. Double-layer with waterproof membrane on the inside. My wife can fit her entire snowboard (160 cm) gear including boots, helmet, goggles, gloves and pants inside and still has room left. The only concern I have is that the handle attached to the bag is narrow and so I'm not sure how long it will hold if you carry it around using the handle all the time. You just have to be careful and don't yank it so that you won't tear the bag or break the stitches.

I loved it. It has enough room to fit all your hear. I was able to fit my boots, helmet and my snowboard with bindings. You can easily fit some tools and clothes too. There is an outside pocket and another one inside. But notice that it isn’t padded, so if you are looking for extra protection this is not the right bag for you, otherwise you definitely will be happy with this. The material is very reliable and everything well made

Awesome bag. Fits my 163cm board with bindings boots and all my gear. Freaking beautiful. Love the design. It dose not have a lining buts is a good quality bag for traveling to and from the ski hills.

This bag is ok but it has no padding at all. Good for when putting the board in the car not to make a mess. For the price it's not bad but for a few $ extra you get a lot more from high sierra.
