Lord of the Rings Legolas Greenleaf Knives Set | Officially Licensed LOTR Replica | Display Plaque & Certificate of Authenticity

These are not self defense weapons so don't get your hopes up (Even though they are stainless steel and full tang, the balancing is way off.) However, they are fantastic decoration pieces, with stunning detail! The knifes were flawless and well packaged. They do come sharp just like any high-quality collectible knife. Don't let the pictures deceive you, they are WAY better than advertised. There are details within the details, and the harsh yellow which made me hesitant to buy them was actually a light American oak. A perfect addition to any collection! COMPLAINTS: The knifes are perfect, but I did have a problem with the Plaque. Although the wood and painting is flawless the structure, not so much. The rubber grips on the upper hooks were too long and had to be trimmed down, the circular piece in the center fell off of it's base and had to be super glued back on, the hardware to attach it was too short resulting in some instability. And the most frustrating of all, the pre-drilled hole was to small for the hardware in the center piece, hope you guys have a drill handy! The blade quality allowed me to overlook the structure of the plaque. These may not be self-defense weapons, but if push comes to shove and a band of orcs breaks into your house, you can sure as heck poke a few holes in them. Overall this is a fantastic collectible that WILL make every nerd that walks through your doors the most jealous man or woman alive!

These knives are fantastic, the inlay is beautiful (although not as beautiful as Hadhafang) and the full tang gives them enough weight to pass as a true battle weapon. Really, they probably could be used as such, they are very sharp. Only issue I see with using them to take out orcs is the lack of a plate above the handle to prevent your hand from slipping onto the blade....but you won't be using them in this capacity so...no worries. They are not perfectly balanced, but this does not take away from the look of the item, or feel of the item for that matter , unless you actually plan on using them in battle. In addition there is a nice display to hang the knives on. Be aware this "display" uses a lower quality wood and finish, so don't expect the quality wood used in the handles of the knives in the display. Also I needed a longer screw then was provided to put the display together properly (safely) so the knives didn't fall accidentally after a large truck drove by. (This may not be the case for everyone) still I thought it worth mentioning as these are sharp and would cause serious injury. Basically if you want them, buy them you won't be disappointed. They are a must have if you read this far.

I received these blades for Christmas last year, and I am VERY pleased with this fantastic purchase! They look WAY better in real life than on the given Amazon photos, they are very sturdy, and I have no doubt they could kill something. 😳 If you are a Middle-earth geek like me and are looking for LOTR replicas that are excellent displays, highly realistic to the movies, REAL, and something that you could maybe swing around a little, 😆 then this purchase is for you! The weight of the blades are just right, the intricate detail is great, and it's shiny like a real sword. (Probably because it IS a real sword) The ONLY setback, is that if you wanted to actually fight with them and stick them into a tree or something, then they could probably get pretty dull. BUT fortunately I'm not planning on fighting an Orc horde any time soon, so that's not a big problem. Again, I highly recommend this!

I got these for a birthday present and they did not disappoint! From the box to the blades to the mount... perfection! These are fantastic replicas and look stunning on their mount. If you have a LotR fan in your life, these Legolas blades are definitely a great gift choice!

These knives are incredibly high-quality. The design is flawless, the etchings on blades and handles are gorgeous, and the materials used are excellent. I was skeptical when I placed the order, due to bad past experiences - half expected the handles to be made of plastic, or some similar horror. My fears were completely unfounded in this case. We did have one small issue when putting together the mounting for the knives: As another reviewer stated, it was necessary to use gorilla glue to do the work of the long screw, which was far too short for the job it was assigned. However, the glue works fine, and the knives look authentically wonderful. And you COULD really kill a cave troll with them; blades are quite sharp. :)

Having purchased Gandalf's Moria staff replica, and being pleased, I was curious about the blades, but wasn't sure about a buying a giant sword. So, I selected these "knives," not knowing quite what to expect. They are obviously great for any LOTR fan. Generally, I think they are nice, and look good. However, I think some of the detail work, like where the hilt pieces come together (uneven seams), could have been a bit better. Likewise, there were small areas along the painted "filigree" work on the blade, that were only partially painted, or looked dull from the manufacturing process. For the price, I would have preferred a bit more attention to these details that, when done poorly, reduce the overall visual appeal of these display pieces.

Watching my brother open these was the best feeling ever. They’re sturdy, ornate, and actually balanced pretty well! While the edges aren’t sharp (they’re not supposed to be), the tip is, so be careful. The wall plaque is also of great quality. Awesome birthday present for any LotR fan!

The replica weapons from the movies made by United Cutlery-there is no questioning the quality in anything! The sword was very realistic to the actual length, was surprisingly heavy, came with a wall mount, certificate of authenticity and a slight background on the weapon, the character it primarily was linked to and what the symbols and crests stood for. I just can't say enough about how impressed I was with this purchase! Very much worth the investment!! The second picture is of the hanging instructions if you lost yours.

Die beiden Messer machen sich extrem gut an meiner wand, sind sehr schön anzusehen und was mir besonders gefällt is das Muster das in die klingen eingeprägt ist, die Lieferung kam schnell und problemlos, wie immer :-)

Meine hohen Erwartungen an UC wurden wieder bestätigt. Die beiden Messer sind sehr gut verarbeitet und echte Schmuckstücke. Ich kann nur 5 Sterne vergeben und jedem Fan den Kauf empfehlen.
