Cant go wrong with this brand to keep you awake and functioning
I love this brand. I started off using the ground coffee for my drip. I liked it so much, I decided to try the whole beans for my espresso. The coffee is strong and has great quality. The aroma is not like artisan coffee, but it is still a good value and tastes nice. I like it most for the boost of caffeine. Just one shot of espresso in one cup of coffee has me going all day. Great purchase and amazing brand. Highly recommend.

Strong as advertised, flatter in flavor or character.
I guess I'm a coffee addict: I needed something stronger than traditional beans, and this does the trick. Only reason I gave a 4/5 was based on flavor. I make my coffee pour over and I adjust my water to enhance flavor without improper contributions from tap water. Shock tastes decent, but is kind of flat in character. Mostly I get a musty bitterness that lingers. Either way, if you need that extra kick, give this a try!

I was surprised how good this coffee is! Bold and flavour full! Not bitter and low acid a really fine cup of coffee!

SMALL BEANS “no beans about it”
Upon opening my bag of SHOCK Amazon-bought coffee, I compared the size of the coffee beans with store-bought beans and the Amazon coffee beans are obviously a lot smaller (photo attached below). The Amazon coffee bean is on the left, and the FoodMaxx coffee bean is on the right. Store-bought coffee beans at FoodMaxx cost $10.99 a pound, while the Amazon-bought coffee costs almost double the price per pound, and the beans are obviously smaller.
