The RFID Blocking Card is the same size as a standard credit card and 0.03inches thick with built-in internal circuitry. The RFID Blocking Card works by drawing power from the scanner, and emitting a counter-signal to jam the communication. This protects the surrounding cards within a 2 inches radius. It can stop transmissions of personal information to a remote RFID device. How to Test if It Works... There are several ways to check if your card works just in case you want to be sure. The easiest way is at a self-checkout at a local supermarket. Place the RFID blocking card on your contactless card and bring them close to the contactless card reader. Now, unlike plastic which we know is not a good product, cellophane can't be recycled, but it is biodegradable. I would however like to see this changed to recycled paper. The cards are well made with no bad edges and feel much more durable then bank cards. The big test is do they work and having been in PC world the day after reveiveing them I checked all 4 one by one alongside my desertcart contactless Visa Card. All four attempts were blocked in so far as the payment scanner acted the same as it would if I'd used a bannana to pay with - nothing. It may be I would never have been a victim but now I know I wont.

Unable to know effectiveness. No metal strips or anything to prove they're not just a lump of card
Good value for money in that you get 4 compared with other sellers. Fits into wallet / purse easily. Unable to see anything to identify how they 'block' scammers. For all to see it could just be a lump of card. Can only know its effectiveness if anything happens.

These are marketed to respond to an RFID call and return a response that confuses the card reader. they do it well . I Tested this in several configurations with several Credit card readers , phone case with several cards in could be read easily via a touch reader - place 1 blocker card anywhere in the others and the cards couldn't be read . same effect on reading cards from a wallet and purse. No battery's needed , the card seems quite substantial and you don't have to have a bulky "faraday cage" protector "sock" to keep your cards secure . Just remember it also means that touch payment will be blocked if you are used to using cards in a phone case store to pay

Blocking cards.
I was recommended to get these by my daughter who explained the dangers of how my card details could be stolen just by walking passed someone who had the ability to steal info from my card etc that were in my purse. I feel safer knowing these cards are able to stop this happening so I have one every where I have a bank card ie purse phone wallet and even hubby's wallet, just having peace of mind is a good thing. Good value for that peace of mind.

Does it protect or not protect that is the question? Of course it does because...
This RFID card does work because I tried it a week ago when I purchased Mcdonald Meal. I put this card underneath my credit card and place it on top the wireless handheld device and it blocked it. Then I did the same again but this time a reverse order I put my credit card underneath the RFID card and this blocked it too. Amazing!. It is basically very simple. It is just a piece of aluminium that is inside the card that blocks any wireless signal through. Overall quite please with the purchased.

Some compatibility issues with RFID
I brought these to protect my contactless cards as well as door entry access cards at work. They work great for contactless cards, but our Net 2 access system reads right through these so I would say they work great for protecting your cards, but don;t rely on them for protecting RFID cards.

bought these for all the family. like most people we have our favourite wallets and purses. these will enable us to use our favourites without any worry. i will be buying more of these wonderful items for chrismas gifts for freinds and family. 10/10

Works as expected
Card work perfectly as advertised. I tried using the card to see if it would block basic NFC tagging on my phone and it did, even with about a 2-3 cm distance.
