Belt Lock Buckle Guard Preventing Children Opening Safety Buckle in Travelling Send Keychain Pack of 2 (Red)

I had an issue with a 4 year old undoing the seat belt securing his car seat and escaping.This very simple device is extremely effective and prevents the car seat from being unbuckled using fingers alone.It just sits over the buckle socket - not attached in any way so make sure you don't lose it - once the seat belt has been fitted through one of the slots in the device it can only be undone using a car key or one of the red plastic keys supplied.Highly recommended.I have not been offered any incentive to write this review.

I bought these as the kids kept unclipping the wrong belt, so I've popped these on the ones the kids aren't to unclip.Easy to attach (they just sit over the buckle), slightly awkward to buckle the belt in through it, especially if you're doing it between two car seats and cant see, but thats not hugely important for me as I don't need to remove that seat very often.Has done what I wanted it to do, stops the kids undoing the wrong belt, and is easy enough to undo myself if I need to, using the tongue from another buckle, or a key, or theres a keyring tool supplied with them to do it.

Even tho I have already got one for mads seatbelt, she leant across to grab the middle belt....got it in her mind that all the belts have to be done up; even tho there's no one sitting., so I decided it's safer if bought couple more of these Belt Locks for all the seats., so now mads doesn't need to worry, work herself into a frazzle, n frighten me stiff along the way.Iv given her enough warnings, but from now on she's gonna consently have the beltlock in place. Least it's peace of mind that can't get out of her seat.***Only thing concerning is if there's accident, wouldn't be able to get out quick enough; couldn't anyway b'cs unable to understand danger n unable to walk unaided*** but apart from that, it's quite a simple device that does reassure driver**Had to buy few more, as I don't want to keep undo the middle guardlock... B'cs the middle belt lock is so close to the back passenger lock, it was very fiddly getting both of the buckle guards on., n b'cs when mads goes out with the carer they'll have to do same, lock all three back belts in place with the guards so she doesn't play up n frighten us all stiff like she did do me******Least with these particular guards, you can use any sharp object to depress the button not just a key****"It is a tight fit getting the guard in place n then locking it; esp with leatherseats, but it's quick to depress thankfully to remove********************reason why I put one on the middle seat is because the little madam found out that she could depress her lock using the middle seat belt buckle, but now because that ones locked she cant depress it to use it**************

Good product and works as described. I thought the item would snugly fit and remain on the stationery safety belt fitting but this was not the case. However, when used the product does work.

Bought these for use in the cars my 4 year old travels in regularly as he has started removing his seat belt if he gets bored, putting us into panic mode until we can pull over. These fit our cars with no issues and are really easy to install - just click on. Totally worth it for the peace of mind they bring.

Flimsy, and did not fit to the car so completely useless purchase

Had to find a way of stopping my 2 and a half year old getting out his car seat while I was driving. Although a 5 point car seat is safer for his age it isn't safe if he can constantly undo the straps. I opted for a hight based high back booster that looks like a traditional car seat (graco affix high back booster), added padded covers to the cars seat belt at the lap and chest and used this on the buckle. Now he is unable to escape the seat and is safely strapped in. I am only able to do this as my son is quite tall for his age.

My grandson found out how to release the seat belt that holds the child seat. Seen this online at a reasonable price. It really works and will give you piece of mind. All you need to release the belt when taking the seat out is a key.
