We bought a high bed & the doggy steps were way too low. Top tip: Get a yardstick & measure the height you need. I subtracted 5" from my measurements so the very top step was my actual bed. I tried buying a couple other models that were either poorly constructed, too steep or cheap & flimsy. This item is a gem!! These steps aren't too steep! The 5 step model is perfect for my older Maltese who forgets she isn't a puppy anymore. The construction is all soft. No hard sides or pieces. It's like a high quality foam, cut out in one piece with corderoy textured outer covering (better paw traction)! It comes completely assembled, so take it out of box and use! It's so light weight that you can very easily pick it up & put it on the bed or closet. Definitely a great buy. Highly recommend!!

I have 2 dogs (25 lbs and 30 lbs). It was becoming such a pain to heft them into bed every night and often they would want in bed after I was already half asleep. The same day the steps arrived I showed them both one time how to use them, and that night they climbed into bed on their own. They are so proud of themselves each time they climb the stairs. It's kind of hysterical. Actually, they don't really climb all 5 steps. They run at the stairs and jump from the 2nd or 3rd step onto the bed. Despite the way they attack the stairs, the foam seems pretty sturdy, although there are noticeable indentations in the foam after just a couple weeks of use. I'm hoping this won't get much worse. I put a non-slip mat under the stairs so they stay in place. Works great. Lightweight enough that it's easy to lift up to clean floor. The stairs are also nice looking. Fabric is attractive such that I don't at all mind having this in my bedroom. Wish I had bought these stairs years ago! Update: Have now had these stairs for 3 years. They are holding up great! They look basically the same as the day I bought them. The foam is still strong and holding its shape. Cover material is also still in excellent condition. And it's so easy to unzip the material to wash, and then recover. Highly recommend these doggie stairs.

Really happy with these stairs. They provide cushioning for my little Yorkie's knees but are still very sturdy. The best part is that the individual stair is low enough that she doesn't have any trouble going up them--great for a small dog and would be good for a larger dog as well. The cover is made of very nice, soft material--not the cheap-looking sheepskin that covers most stairs. I got the gray and it is a soft dove color. As far as dog stairs go, they are very attractive. If you are trying to decide which height to get, I would go with the taller ones. I got the five steps and my bed is low. The top of the stairs is the same height as the bed which is what I wanted. Definitely worth the price.

Really love the whole inside is foam. It holds up well under the weight of my dogs (50lbs). Keeps it shape and even a human weighing 150+ lbs can walk up it. It’s soft and actually cute. Much better looking compared to most of the other dog stairs and a good price. Pros: 2/3 dogs use them 3/3 can use them Cute Keep shape Lightweight No sliding Cons: I got them for the one dog who doesn’t like to use them. She can just doesn’t. I think she would if she really wanted on the bed but they block the side she would jump up anyways. So they solve the problem of her jumping on the bed. She is a little older and is having some spine and back leg issues. So that’s not really a con I keeps her from jumping on the bed. I really like them and think they work perfectly. My 4 lb chihuahua was the first to figure it out. Took him about 2 min my other pup who’s larger took a day or so to get use to them.

I have a small room and a big bed. I don't have room for a ramp. I really don't even have room for stares, but I was able to make this work. My two 18lbs tweenies dachshunds are able to use it just fine. My bed is so high that it acts as a 5th step. The thing is wedged up in the order and against my bed so the bottom step is up against a wall that is parallel to the length of my bed. The dogs don't care, they usually skip the first step steps, leaping on to the 3rd step and it's just two short (no pun intended) steps to the bed.

I have owned a set of these since 2019 for my dachshund mix. They have held up so nice! The foam inside is solid and its great that you can remove the cover and machine wash anytime. I like how the cover is so tight to the foam so it doesn't cause tripping for my dog. Considering how long they have lasted, they are a good value for the money. He loves them! they are sturdy and look nice in my bedroom. I would definitely buy them again.

Our king size bed is way too tall for our small 15lb dog to jump on and she has bad knees so its rough on her knees jumping off the bed. She loves these stairs and uses them all the time. We had to train her with treats to get her used to them, but she caught on fast. She loves having the option of being able to get on our bed whenever she pleases. Great quality and sturdy. I've seen a few reviews calling them too steep and the stairs too narrow, but these reviews had the steps upside down. I was not home when the steps arrived and my husband sent me a picture and said they were way too steep and narrow. I told him he had them upside down and then he fixed them and said they were perfect when put the right way. So just a FYI that it can easily be turned the wrong way, so if you are thinking they look too steep and narrow just trying turning them the other way. Update July 2020: She still loves them! I figured I’d do an update since it seems like my original post has helped quite a few people. These stairs get used throughout the day, everyday. Since she’s a smaller dog, they’ve held up well. You can tell they are sagging just a little and look a little worn in the middle of the steps but it’s not too noticeable. When we first got the stairs, I stupidly sat on them and heard it tear a little underneath but as far as I can tell, it never affected them. Not sure if this is gross or not, but I have not yet taken the fabric off to wash it lol As far as I can tell, it unzips and is meant to be taken off to wash. I have spot cleaned it a few times and it cleaned up just fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t regret these stairs at all. Picture attached is meant to show the wear and sagging in the stairs.

*UPDATE 5/2022: We still use this for the 5 animals, but now our toddler uses it also to gain access to our bed. It's lightweight enough that she can push it around. It's STILL holding up fantastically! It washes (on cold) and dries beautifully also. 10/10 would recommend! I will repurchase if the need ever arises. Bought this for our oldest (and overweight) cat, but all 5 animals use it. Our heaviest dog (60 lbs) has used it without issue. All dogs and cats use it to get on the bed happily. Now two of our smaller cats also use it as another bed! It's lightweight, but has held up perfectly (still looks new after several months of daily use!) to 5 animals!! If your pet is over 100 lbs these stairs will likely still work, but I would invest in a hard plastic set or firmer foam. This works perfectly for us (our heaviest is 60 lbs. GSD/Retriever/Akita mix) but I've stood on it (<130 lbs) and though it holds me fine, my foot does sink a bit into the foam. If we had a Great Dane/Newfie or other large breed we would invest in a plastic or wood set of stairs.

This works great. It took about a month to get him to use it with lots of training everyday but once he did it on his own there was no looking back. It's foam so it works great for him at 15 lbs, I would not use it for a big heavy dog though but it's purfect for my chubby cat.

Después de probar con diferentes tipos de escaleras para ayudar a mi gata viejita, definitivamente creo que esta es la mejor. Me pareció carísima, pero el color y los 5 escalones me convencieron de probarla. Estoy muy contenta, es de excelente calidad y al ser un poco más alta permite a mi gatita llegar fácilmente al sofá. La espuma es de muy buena calidad, mejor que otras más baratas que desde nuevas se ven deformadas.

Our dog was having difficulties getting up & down our bed. We purchased these stairs & after a couple of times of training with treats she caught on & loves using them. Will save on her joints & future vet bills. She can easily go up & down carrying her toys. Y recommendation if u have laminate or wood floors is to put a non slippery mat under. The stairs then don’t move when she uses. Highly recommend

Great ---my elder dog ( 20 pounds) who couldn't do a ramp now has access to the bed ---my 3 lb Yorkie as well. Any dog heavier though --the steps would be too small
