I needed Microdot to 3.5mm Locking adapter for my DPA 4099 mic...DPA costs $105...Do the math...AND this works just fine...

Bad design. Not enough threads. Will loosen over a day on set. I'll never again buy the mics that need this.

Better than the OEM verion
After purchasing a handful of the OEM versions over the years I decided to try these. So far (2 years) they have been noise and static free. The OEM versions grew noisier over time until they were unusable. These are also much cheaper.

The YPA knock-off DPA adapters are hit or miss, some of them leave out components like mini resisters used in the DPA ones, or use the wrong values, and so they don't function correctly. This adapter is just a simple change of connector, nothing to screw up, and it works perfectly. I don't see how it would be any less durable than the DPA version, which is fiddly itself to begin with.

Worked for 2 Shoots
Was fine but then the bottom screw on piece became loose and now it sounds like there's a loose connection anytime I move it when it's on the transmitter.

Not the same as the real thing
Not the same as a DPA connector. If I touch the barrel noise is injected into signal.
