Best remedy for smelly sport items
I have been using Sport Wash for several years and love it! It gets out even that mildew smell that comes from soccer jerseys spending too much time in the bag after games. Most school sports uniforms seem to need to be air dried and even once they are washed they could still get that mildew smell from hanging on the line to dry. Sport Wash completely eliminates that smell. It also cleans really well in cold temperatures. We use it for all of our family's athletic wear and I used it for gentle wash as well.Since Sport Wash has no perfumes, dies, etc., it is really good for people with skin allergies. Sport Wash itself doesn't smell very good, but it leaves no scent on your clothes. For those of you that enjoy the strong scented detergents, you could still add a fragrant dryer sheet, but I don't recommend it. Finally, Sport Wash is supposed to be really good for technical fabrics because it unclogs the membranes that allow them to be breathable.I have only found Sportwash at a running store and sports store in town, so ordering through Amazon was very convenient. We have Amazon Prime, so the price is the same as at a store. You use very little in each load, so this stuff is worth every penny!

Works pretty good, smells a little Odd
The soap and your clothes will kind of smell like that bubble blowing soap (you know those little bottles you had when you were a kid with the plastic wand inside?.. yeh those). It's not a bad smell but just not quite what you would expect from a laundry detergent. As far as how it cleans? Well I guess it depends on how you wash your clothes and how bad the smell is. I pre-scrub the stinky parts of my lululemon with this stuff and then soak them in the sink (hand wash). Tide just wasn't getting the smell out. This stuff does a pretty good job using my soak method, but I'm not so sure if i just threw all my sport clothes in a washing machine (mixed with all my other laundry) that it would work as well. On a plus, this stuff is super concentrated so you really don't need much. For about 20 bucks it will last you a while if you just spot clean and do cold water soaks with it, but if you plan on using this as your everyday laundry detergent it may become pricey. I would say stick to Tide for your regular clothes and only use this for your doing a laundry load of workout clothes.

Highly recommend this product for anyone who is active.
I've been using it for over one year and will continue to use it as long as they keep making it.I first tried this product when I noticed that several pieces of my workout clothes starting getting a bad odor. I followed all the directions on the bottle to get rid of the odor, and I was able to salvage many of the pieces (admittedly, a couple were too far gone and needed to go into the trash). I'm not one to separate out all of my laundry, so washing all my workout clothes separately using the Sport Wash was simply too much trouble. Since it's more watery than typical laundry detergent, I ended up transferring the Sport Wash into a spray bottle, and I quickly spray down the more sweaty parts (specifically armpits and groin) of my workout clothes after every use and throw them in the hamper until it's time to do laundry, then I wash all my laundry as usual using my usual detergent. That system works fabulously! There's been zero foul odor on any of my workout clothes since starting that method a year ago, the Sport Wash itself does not leave any weird odor, no color fading of any of my items, and no fabric breakdown, even with the specialized sports fabrics. So glad I found this product!

Does someone stink?
At first I did not think this product was going to make the grade. I am the wife of the person who stinks after work or exercising. I cannot tell you how many times I could not get the body odor out of my husbands clothes. How many T-shirts hit the trash bag before I tried this detergent? On occasions I use two capfuls in to a large wash to get the smell out of his clothes. I was actually shocked to give my husbands the "nose' job after i used it the first time. It worked better than other laundry detergent including the ones with bleach, "removes stains and smell", not. Nathan Sport Wash is fab. I buy the 42oz although it is expensive. It turns out it is less money than buying new shirts for my husband that continued to smell after two or three washes.

For anyone who uses and loves performance apparel like Under Armour products you definitely will need this stuff
For anyone who uses and loves performance apparel like Under Armour products you definitely will need this stuff. I've tried using the best Tide, woolite, warm water. No matter what my UA fleece still smelled like fish after every wash and only wearing for a couple of hours. Boy was I embarrassed and no one had the heart to tell me anything I had to figure it out my self. And that fish smell just kept getting stronger after every use. I finally did my own research about this problem and as it turns out most all performance apparel does do a good job of wicking away sweat. They also retain that sweat until properly washed with a Sports wash like this one. No scent just super clean clothes after each wash. Kinda smells like those blow bubbles soaps. Anyway awesome product I started using it for all my clothes including cotton. Just be aware there is no fragrance to this product you will smell the natural odor of the fabrics your washing.
