Good for refrigerant leaks.
This is very good for finding medium to large leaks on condenser coils.

Didn't work for me :(
Ultrasonic leak detector didn't work for me. I first tried it on a known leak on my air compressor line. Then I tried it on a small known leak on a refrigerant system receiver nothing. Tried it on a coil, nothing. I boxed it back up and sent it back.

It works great
Worked perfectly! It comes with a transmitter that sends out the right frequency, so you can verify that it works. It did. I’ve been trying to find a small leak in my automotive A/C system. Put a 150 psi of nitrogen in the system and put the headphones on and found it right off. Glad I bought it!

J'ai un Kegeretor de 4 kegs, j'avais une fuite de Co2 depuis longtemps, à la boutique il me disait de mettre de l'eau et du savon pour détecter la fuite mais ca vaut rien ! Avec ce produit j'ai détecter la fuite en 5 min gros max !!!

I was hopeful this would make pneumatic testing a bit faster and easier, but I was wrong. I've used the same technology with other more expensive brands with a lot of success. This unit however does not have near enough sensitivity. As you can see in the image, the leak shows up using the soap test, but not using this tester. I have the tester set to maximum sensitivity. The air pressure is at 100 psig. Even at 160 psig, this did not detect the leak. The unit will detect a large leak, but anything short of what you can detect audibly yourself and this unit fails. Will be returning. Amazon should not be selling this garbage.

Suddenly stop working. Not even turn on. Lights does not show on using a new 9v battery. Not recommended

Works great on vaccum and pressure leaks found leaks that soap would not find
