Bonide 8066 Captain Jack's Bacillus Thuringiensis BT Organic Worm & Caterpillar Control, 32 oz. Ready-to-Us - Quantity 1

This is THE ONLY SOLUTION to my yearly caterpillar invasion. Unfortunately it's hard to find in my local stores.

I have a ‘Grape Kool-Aid tree’ (Texas Mountain Laurel) that’s about 4 years old. The caterpillars absolutely adore the fresh new growth so this year I got the Bacillus Thuringiensis to apply before I see them as well as IF they get on the tree after I’ve sprayed it. Although the caterpillars don’t kill the tree, they’ve stunted its growth in the last 2 years. This year I have a NATURAL secret weapon and have high hopes if not this year, maybe next year I can get a few wonderfully scented blossoms…

Very effective against most larval-stage insects that destroy plants. Very eco-friendly as well. Remember to apply after a rain or watering, as it washes away easily.

I used Bonide Captain Jack’s BT on my bell pepper plants and lettuce after seeing signs of caterpillar damage. I followed the instructions and sprayed a few times, and I didn’t notice any more caterpillars afterward. So, I think it worked — though I didn’t directly see the effect on the pests. One thing I didn’t like was the smell. It had a weird, almost “spit-like” odor, which was a bit off-putting, but it wasn’t unbearable. On the plus side, the spray was easy to apply, and I felt good knowing it’s safe for organic gardening and beneficial insects. Overall, the product seems to have done its job. I’d consider using it again, but the smell could be a downside if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing.

Last year I had these yellow and black caterpillars all over my grapes , they completely destroyed the crop. They eat all the leaves until the leaves look like a skeleton. I asked Gock, and she told me to buy this product. She said it should say BT on the product don't buy it. So hopefully this year they won't come back. All I have to do is spray the leaves about every 7 days. Shut out what these worms look like.This is right off my grapevines

My basil plant was under attack by Thrips and was able to eliminate that threat and then caterpillar (cabbage loopers) infestation. As soon as the Captain Jacks’s arrival I treated the basil and in one to two days I noticed dead and dying Cabbage loopers. All destruction stopped within a few days. Very effective.

I have been using this product for years and I love it. Last time I bought a gallon and the first time I used it the sprayer broke. I contacted Bonide and they responded within24 hours which was wonderful!!! The quickly put another spray nozzle into the mail and I just received it. Excellent and timely customer service ! 5 stars

Love this product so went with larger size. Did not receive the spray portion so now I can not use it frustrating
