Good on tarmac or firm gravel
Good replacement for MTB tyres, on tarmac.Faster that nobly tires on the road. Good rolling resistance. Maxis tyres, they are all good if you pick the correct one for your ride

It punctures easily
This is not a road tyre, it’s a track tyre for 29 inch bikes on pump tracks and skate parks. As a pump track tyre I’m sure it’s very good.It punctures extremely easily on road as gravel gets stuck in the tread, and it has a very soft compound so attracts it like glue and causes drag on asphalt.

Fast
Have them on my 29er mountain bike. Due to tread roll faster on asphalt than mountain tyres. Great buy. Ideal for urban environment.

Great tyres bad supplier .
The tyres themselves are great , but a few hiccups with delivery which were pretty terrible, I would recommend these tyres but not the seller .

Poor Puncture Resistance
I ride mostly local cycle paths which are tarmac with some short dirt sections. I have riden these paths for many years and can honestly say I have had about 2 punctures in all this time.Up until purchasing these tyres I have used Schwalbe trail tyres with no issues but I liked the look of the Maxxis Torch for my new bike, so I decided to give them a go.What a mistake, within a month of owning these tyres I have has 3 punctures, 2 in the same amount of days. These are the worst tyres I have ever owned for puncture resistance so much so I've gone back to Schwalbe. My recommendation for the Maxxis Torch, stay well clear unless you ride pristine roads.
