Yaheetech 175cm Small Animal Cage on Wheel with 3 Tiers and Ladders, Black

I recently purchased the Yaheetech 175cm Rat Cage Extra Large, and I must say that despite some initial hiccups, the overall experience has been nothing short of exceptional. When I received the cage and started assembling it, I noticed a few warped metal pieces fused together, which was quite disappointing. However, my disappointment quickly turned into admiration for the incredible support team at Yaheetech. After discovering the issue, I promptly contacted their support team, and to my surprise, they went above and beyond to assist me with every step of the process. The level of dedication and promptness they exhibited left me truly impressed. They were patient, understanding, and genuinely committed to ensuring my satisfaction. Not only did they address my concerns promptly, but they also worked diligently to find a solution that worked for both parties. We came to an agreement on a partial refund, which was more than fair and reflective of their excellent customer service. Putting the initial mishap aside, the rat cage itself is absolutely amazing. It provides ample space for my adorable rats to roam and play happily. The design is sturdy and well-thought-out, providing plenty of opportunities for customization and making it easy to keep clean. Most importantly, my rats are absolutely thrilled with their new home, and their happiness brings me so much joy. Knowing that they're content and safe in their environment is priceless. In conclusion, I cannot thank the support team at Yaheetech enough for their outstanding assistance and dedication. Despite the initial issue, their exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile have left me completely satisfied. I wholeheartedly recommend the Yaheetech 175cm Rat Cage Extra Large to any rat owner, as the cage itself is fantastic, and the support team is truly remarkable. Kudos to Yaheetech for putting their customers first and making this a delightful purchase overall!

I am really impressed with this cage!! I am 5”2 and managed to assemble this by myself in about an hour. Once built though, it was quite hefty to lift up onto the stand by myself (queue hubby). I would say my only potential concern is - other than it’s own weight, there is nothing fixing the cage to the stand (and I’m only worried as I have a toddler and a dog that can be relatively clumsy. So I’ll be keeping extra eyes on them, just until I’m sure they’re used to this massive cage being in the room) . But so long it’s on a flat stable surface - which it is, I don’t envision this being much of an issue. The assembly itself was easy and straight forward. Instructions were clearly drawn/written. Thankfully came with the correct parts and even one spare screw (always handy). I expected it to be big, but it really is quite huge! My 3 little girls are going to be able to grow just fine in here. It seems well welded together, no sharp edges or loose wires that I could find. The base plates slide in and out really easily, which will help with cleaning. I have put a storage container inside the bottom, so that I could add deeper bedding to allow for natural burrowing. Having read a lot of the reviews on this. I have chosen to securely close several of the sliding hatches (for the food bowls) just as a precaution. Cable ties is the easiest option, but will be interesting to see how much the girls enjoy nibbling through them and how frequently! Overall, really really happy with this product!

Have had this cage for a couple of months and I have found it a suitable cage for rats. When it arrived I noticed one of the metal bars was slightly bent, however was easily pushed back into place with a little force. I had my partner help me put it together, however I think with a little more patience one person could assemble it. The size is perfect if you want a large cage but don't have a huge amount of floor space and the extra shelves and rope make for an easier beginning set up. The tray at the bottom is really easy to clean and accessible if you're using a substrate that can't fit through the bars, however because I have 7 rats and use recycled paper bedding it was going everywhere so I've now replaced the tray that slides out with a storage box, which gives the cage a little extra space and means substrate doesn't go everywhere! The cage itself can be a little tricky to clean due to how the doors are quite small, but once you get used to it it's pretty easy to work around. Overall I think this is a great cage for pets rats, especially for the price. Would definitely recommend.

We have two of these cages. One cage holds our 8 girls, and I would say that's about the limit of how many rats you can fit in there. If you buy these for rats, or any small rodent, please cover the floor bars with something. We have a box on the very bottom bit so they have room to dig, and then we've covered the platforms with some scrap fleece. The cage can be a little hard to clean, so be aware of that. Lots of space to hang up beds and hides, but not a lot of floor space. It was a little bit of a pain to assemble, definitely a two person job, but not more so than any other product. Overall, good value for money, would buy it again if I needed to (but I probably won't because it's very sturdy)

Got this today and honestly fell in love with it! Easy to assemble but you might need someone to help when putting the screws in, found a really easy video on YouTube as I wasn’t sure if it came with instructions. Quite sturdy, love that it’s got under storage so I can store all their accessories. Rats love them, I had to zip tie some of the heart doors as I know my rats would easily figure it out lol, but so far so good. Happy rats, happy customer ☺️ I will say I did get some plastic from B&Q which I put at the bottom of the cage so I could add more bedding.

This is a BIRD cage and NOT a rat cage. We ordered this, put it together and put our four rats inside. They seemed happy with the space and we loaded it with their toys and favourite chews. Less than a week later, one of the rats got caught in one of the bars, chewed off her own foot to free herself and was subsequently put to sleep by the vets on an emergency appointment, at a phenomenal cost. I showed them pictures of the cage and they confirmed this is completely unsuitable for rats, and is in fact more suitable for a parrot. It has absolutely destroyed my daughter and the other 3 rats haven’t been the same since. This happened yesterday morning. Avoid at all costs. Advert MUST be changed to bird cage ONLY and to state it is unsuitable for rats. Vet has advised us to take legal action against this company as a result of their false advertising, the pain and suffering our rat went through and the cost of the veterinary treatment. I will be contacting them and Amazon separately to this review. Please, please, please do NOT buy for your beautiful rats, EVER. Rest in peace to our beautiful Pearl :-(

This cage houses my 5 young female rats, growing daily, and is the perfect housing for a small colony. They love the vertical height, being adept climbers. The cage is extremely well made and the construction instructions are clear. I would advise laying out all the pieces before assembly to help identify each piece and also ensure that the horizontal bars face the outside in each case. I also advise, if possible to have two people assemble it, I’m sure it’s possible with one, but an extra pair of hands made this so much easier. This is not the cheapest cage available but worth the money. Your beloved pets are worth it.

It's a really well designed cage (feeding hatches, easy to rearrange, doors that prevent tails/hands to be crushed while closing, super easy to take out and clean bottom plastic tray) , very spacious (you can easily fit here 5-6 rats without overcrowding). OFC there are better and more fancy cages out there but I doubt you can get anything better for that price. Would recommend!
