A Cast Of Friends

Bill Hanna didn't recognize Doug Wildey, creator of the Jonny Quest characters, at all in this book. This was no surprise, as he is barely mentioned in the show's credits. At least Hoyt Curtin, the man responsible for the big band jazz and theme, is mentioned at all. It's sad that Bill Hanna was not one to publicly give proper credit to the artists he employed. At least there are some pictures of some of the animators, and one of Hoyt Curtin.

The book was in very good shape. It was an old library book but that was o.k. for me

I hadn't seen this book before purchase and it was not quite what I had expected as I purchase books that chronicle cartoon shows, BUT it is very interesting and I appreciated the condition and the price

BRILL autobio from one of the giants of animation.

I love this book. It goes well with my other book written by Joe Barbera, "My Life in Toons". I enjoyed reading about both their early yeas in the animation biz.
