Hickory is heavier than maple
I was used to maple sticks, but this one is hickory which is much heavier though feels much more sturdy because of that. Nylon tip is great.

KILLER STICK, WE LOVE THE WEIGHT. THE RED NYLON TIP KEEPS YOU ON TARGET WHETHER YOU ARE WORKING THE RIDE OR THE SNARE. THE WHITE TIP ON A WHITE NEVER MADE ANY SENSE. TOO BAD WE CAN'T BUY STEM CELL THERAPY FOR DEAFNESS ON AMAZON, BUT THE FUTURE IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.....
