Penchant Thick Silicone Lube for Couples – Personal Lubricant (4 fl oz)

Just received this a few ago, and have only used it a couple times since. So Far, very good results. Initially is very slick but requires a bit more than the 'few' drops others have written about, (my guess females). Suffice it to say I needed it to cover substantially more area. The bottle itself is a bit ridged, so squeezing precise amounts out is not quite as easy to do as it is with some other brands, but being more ridged it is less likely to break/crack under pressure. my guess is there is a learning curve in getting the correct amount out. There is no odor, (a plus in my book), and under the conditions of use was sufficiently slick enough to experience pleasure for a good 20 minutes. (conditions, low humidity environment and a fan constantly on to keep me cool). I would guess without the fan and normal humidity, it would last longer, say 30-60 minutes. In re-applying, it does not take nearly the same amount as initially, but still lasts about 20 minutes. Third application even less amount but still same time before becoming a bit tacky. (Yes, I like feeling really good a long time before reaching climax, this is why I seek the best lube there is). By the time Im ready to finish it off, I usually like a little less slick and more friction for a warmer, closer contact sensation. Perfect there. Clean up was easy, just a quick rinse and it's gone. Overall an excellent lube for personal use. My standard is 'astro-glide', and I would say this is at least it's equal, (and may be better, will need more experience first). On toys, (I have 2 different 'fleshlights'), it performed better than the 'astro' as far as slickness time. I usually follow similarly scheduled reapplications as with the manual method above, but it only required an initial application with Penchant for a good hour plus pounding away with the 'fleshlight'. (which leads me to believe without the drying air blowing, it may last much longer). I'm not into anal, so I cannot comment on that. I do occasionally like slicking up other erogenous areas, and this works perfect in these areas, (groin, nipples, lower abdomen...). I'm currently single and without a partner, so no comments there at this time, I would think it would last for hours with a woman combining it with a woman's natural ability to provide some moisture herself. Worth at least a try for those that like to love a good long time. I have to recommend it, which is not a rating I have given many of these lubes in the past. Give it a GO I say... Good job Penchant!

Short version: This really is premium stuff. Definitely worth the money and then some; i.e. great value for a product that brings great satisfaction in the bedroom from all parties involved. Maintains slickness once enough is applied. Water-proof. Doesn't get sticky quickly. No odor. Will purchase again. Only downside is that I will be spending more money on lube to access the superior experience of silicone. Long version: Only previous lube used was Astroglide water-based lube which was okay except that it got sticky quickly if you failed to add water. I used that product for many years without too much trouble until I recently tried this. I noticed the following upon the first few uses: To get things really slippery I needed to apply at least twice as much as I used to apply with the Astroglide water-based lube. If you only apply a little droplet, the silicon lube feels a little sticky and insufficient. However, once I applied a sufficient amount (a small line of this lube), it stayed pretty much the same consistency for the next 20+ minutes and things got pretty wild with my girlfriend. =) Able to switch positions without any reapplication. After the story came to a conclusion, we weren't sure what to do since "it" was still sufficiently lubed. All and all it was A+ premium experience because it enhanced sexual experience without feeling like we were using gross gets-sticky-quick lube. Upon getting in the shower, the water really does wick off of any areas with the silicone applied. I see this as a plus because it can facilitate shower play. It was only when mild soap and hot water was vigorously applied did it come off. If you leave it on your skin for a few hours, I noticed it kind of dries and turns to these harmless white flakes but the substance is not entirely removed in this manner. I was able to comfortably continue my day without washing the lube off with soap/hot water. I.e. there was no irritation from delaying washing up. My girlfriend reported no irritation problems either. No parabens or other endocrine disrupters (that I know of) like other brands and types sometimes have. So many things in life are hard. Treat yourself to this one premium item and you'll be much happier for it. At least try it out. I can see some people maybe liking the sticky consistency of other lubes but this was an instant favorite for me and my girlfriend. Finally, this lube has no odor that I could detect. The Astroglide water-based lube, on the other hand, had a "play dough" type smell that would remain embedded in your hand for a few hours after "vigorous use." I haven't tried tasting the silicone lube but I don't think you're supposed to do that. I paid for this product in full through Amazon and have no ties to the manufacturing company and have not been coerced, persuaded, asked, or otherwise compensated for writing this review.

So, I actually have found this lube to be amazing but not for the reason you would think. This is BY FAR the ULTIMATE BEST thing I have found for..... shaving. Yes. This waterproof lube is absolutely perfect for shaving and the benefits are unbeatable. First, it's a lube, so your razor will glide on your skin with ease. Second, it's waterproof so it won't wash away immediately like shaving creams, conditioners or lotions. Third, it is waterproof so it protects the blade from dulling out. Fourth, the layer of lube protects your skin from the razor while cutting the hairs leaving a super smooth close shave while leaving absolutely ZERO razor burn. Fith, you only need a little bit and it lasts for your whole shave. It's literally a win! win! win! win! win! I have never heard of anyone doing this before so I feel like kinda a genius for making this discovery. Oh, and I'm sure it's great for shower sex too Lol enjoy! 😄

Why did you change your packaging? Simply horrible! Makes me not want to buy this product anymore, although I do love the lube itself. Change it back! Otherwise it’d be five stars.

I LOVE this stuff. This is superior for many reasons. For the sake of saving you, the potential buyer, some time, I will list what are, in my mind, chief among them. First of all, buy this. I was a bit leary of the price for the amount you get, as I am sure you are. It is definitely worth every. damn. penny. At first my husband and I thought it was a bit on the thin side for silicone-based stuff, but it's not an issue. Just be careful. It comes out quick. He ended up using too much. So, be aware of that. As it turns out, the relatively low viscosity is a huge plus. It goes on and stays in place. It lasted considerably longer for the amount we used than I thought. A lot of lube we have used in the past definitely stays in place, but loses its efficacy after a few minutes. Not so with this. No taste or smell. I have pretty sensitive skin in that area, and this was truly pleasant to use. It's FAR less gummy than KY, and a lot of other silicone-based stuff we have tried. I thought it would be a pain to clean off without a shower, considering it's staying power, but not so at all. Wipes off pretty clean with just a wet towel, and it doesn't leave that thick, gummy residue that so often hangs around with silicone-based. Sometimes, it's late and you don't wanna shower right away, but wait until morning. What little residue that was left was minimal and actually didn't feel icky in the least. All that is left after just a towel and some warm water was, actually, pleasantly moisturizing. Will DEFINITELY buy again, despite the price. Truly the best all-purpose lubricant we have ever tried. Absolutely worth the price. No question.

I've only used this once so far, but it is definitely the best personal lubricant I've ever tried. It's not thick and sticky, in fact it's very light and silky. I was really surprised at how nice it felt even on my hands, which let's face it, is sometimes the worst thing to get lube on. Very easy to wipe off. I'm in my 40's & my boyfriend is in his late 20's so we have a VERY active sex life. He absolutely hates the occasions we need to use lube because a lot of them are desensitizing. He was pleasantly surprised by how good the Penchant lubrication felt and he didn't experience any less feeling than when we don't use lube. Clean up was super easy because the formula is so light. I'm very sensitive to any chemicals, soaps, etc so I was worried I may have an adverse reaction from the silicone based formula (usually I stick to water-based, but even those can irritate me), but I had no issues after using this. I'm very pleased with the Penchant brand and think it is worth the price. My only "complaint" would be that I'd love to have the option to purchase a bottle with a pump dispenser for easier application in the moment. No matter what, this will be my #1 choice!

Three stars is a generous score for the overall experience of a product that is touted as the best thing to happen to sex since sex itself. The Good: The lubricant is amazing. It's thin which we like yet it doesn't run off or drip off. Don't be stingy with it but once you have enough applied you are good to go. We went for a half hour of "alternative" intercourse recently and never had to reapply. It's also waterproof as advertised. Need plenty of warm soapy water for cleanup. We haven't tried it in the tub yet but will be soon. The Bad: The label isn't exactly discrete. Certainly not something to leave out for company to see. It's benign from a distance but up close the word lube is plain as day. The Ugly: The flip top bottle is a disaster and makes application a two handed process. This stuff is incredibly slippery and once It's on your hands you can't securely hold anything. Including her. Or the bottle. I've tried cleaning the bottle with warm soapy water multiple times but the label refuses to come clean. I tried putting some in a small spritzer bottle but that didn't work. We'll try a small pump spray bottle next. If that doesn't work I'll order the brand that offers a pump bottle. Please consider a different bottle with a pump for one handed no touch application.

We are very happy with this product, its our 3rd order now... The only downside is bottle and leakage. Hopefully soon they come up with dispenser bottles instead of what they have now

The product itself is excellent. It is not sticky, lasts a long time, feels great, doesn’t make a mess, and despite being a silicone product it is very easy to cleanup. We’ve tried several different lubes and this is definitely one of the better ones. I highly doubt that anyone would be disappointed with this product. The product itself is easily a 5 Star but I can only give it a 3 Star review. The problem I encountered is that the large photos clearly indicate that the size is 8oz 236ml, the large description states that it is 8oz 236ml, the pricing per 100ml is calculated for 236ml, the features and specs states that it is 236ml, but the small print in the header at the top of the page ends with “4oz” and doesn’t specify the number ml. What was delivered was a 4oz 120ml bottle which is half the size I was expecting and changed what I believed to be a decent value into an expensive product. *Update* This is a very late update. The seller made things right almost immediately but I forgot to change my feedback at the time. The seller reached out and made things right with me. The original review was three stars because the product size received did not match the size stated in the listing. I am now updating to five stars because of the customer service.
