All I can say is that it closely matched my existing antenna worm gear and was part of the repair I made. I also installed the matching elevator gear to go with it. The price was okay. Even though this says kit, be aware that you'll likely need the matching elevator gear to fix your issues correctly.I wish they made these out of aluminum or something sturdier, but perhaps they're designed to break before something else does in the event something gets snagged on the antenna. The install was not bad, but be aware that nut on top of the the worm gear part can't be tightened down too much or it will bind. I also had to trim down the end a bit so my handle would work correctly.

My original was missing the washer and rubber o-ring ever since I bought the RV. Recently started to leak in the rain.

What I like about this, is you can adjust the length, by cutting it with a hacksaw, which I had to do. The aluminum cuts nicely, as I cut it exactly the same length as the one that came out, I ended up taking about 2" off the full length, and it's working perfectly!

This was very easy to install and it came with the new rubber washers and in the correct order. The shaft came long enough so I was able to shorten to the correct length for my roof depth.

My unit wasn’t leaking but figuring my worm gear shaft assembly was three years old and the cost was minimal it would make sense to change and be proactive with preventative maintenance. It went together with ease. I had to shorten it as it was to long. Hacksaw did the job. Many installation YouTube videos available. Strongly recommend watching one before attempting to install.
