I’ve been using this collagen consistently and have been really impressed with the results so far. Within the first couple of weeks, I started noticing my nails growing faster and feeling stronger, which is usually one of the first signs for me that something is working internally. This product has stevia leaf extract in the ingredients. My stomach is sensitive to artificial sweeteners therefore I could not drink this. I didn’t realize it until I had consumed it for seven days. When I started having stomach issues I realized it was symptoms like I have on artificial sweeteners. Stevia leaf extract is listed in the “other ingredients “. I liked the chocolate flavor and it mixed well with my protein shake. If you do not have problems with artificial sweeteners then you’ll like this product. Since it is a food product I can not return it which sucks since I only consumed it for 7 days.

A delicious way to take collagen supplements. This chocolate powder mixes instantly with liquids (I use milk) and packs 10 mg of 5 sources of collagen in one scoop (20mg in 2 scoops, but I use only 1 daily) I used to use a cheaper, unflavored collagen powder but the smell was so "gaggy", even when mixing with chocolate milk to mask the flavor, that I finally broke down and paid more for Ancient Nutrition brand. You get collagen from 5 sources instead of 2 or 3, and the chocolate flavor is so good. Even the powder smells delicious when you open the can. I'm on my 3rd can and can see a real difference in the thickness of my hair, which has started growing rapidly (!) and the strength of my nails, which are finally growing again. I can only imagine the growth if I used the recommended 20mg dose. But it's a bit pricey at $45 for 20 servings of 20mg, so I'm sticking with the 10mg dosage. I actually bought it for my joints, and can see a big difference in ease of movement, as I'm more up there in years and need all the help I can get.

I first bought Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen Protein Powder a few years ago and have been using it daily in my coffee. I decided to try the Cold Brew flavor and found it slightly enhanced the flavor of my coffee. I do like coffee with mocha/chocolate nuance but in general don't care for artificially flavored coffee & I almost never put any type of sweetener in my coffee and tea. Only thing I add is a generous splash of 1/2 & 1/2. On whim, I bought the chocolate flavor. Unfortunately, the do not tell you that the chocolate flavor is sweetened. Not only that, it's horrible. I should've heeded someone review saying it had a chemical taste. I wasted money on it & detested it but tried mixing a small canister of the plain to dilute the horribly sweet stevia taste. I did not want to throw it away. I was so glad when the canister was empty. Ancient Nutrition/Amazon should make it clear which flavors are sweetened. I had a notion to contact Ancient Nutrition website & complain and see if I could get a coupon, some sort of refund etc.. Although I find the unsweetened coffee flavor fine, it's more expensive than the plain unflavored. I may just buy it henceforth. I do feel this multi collagen formula is very good, BUT...not inexpensive by any means!
