NOW Foods Supplements, Super Enzymes, Formulated with Bromelain, Ox Bile, Pancreatin and Papain, 180 Tablets

I discovered this product a year ago. After recovering from an illness, in which I wasn't able to eat for a long time, my stomach enzymes were mostly gone. At the time, I didn't know that was the problem; I just knew I couldn't eat anything without getting sick to my stomach. As a result, I could barely eat and felt weak all the time. I came across this product on the internet after reading about how a lack of enzymes can cause the problem I was having; the article said recovering anorexics have the same problem. Your stomach eats its own enzymes when you don't eat for a long period. Then when you can eat again, your body doesn't have the enzymes it needs to digest food. I tried this product because it had got the best reviews. One review I read said it was one of the few you could find containing ox bile, which helps you to digest fat. The first day I took it, it gave me a slight headache, but no more problems after that. Literally, by the next day I was a different person. I had been too weak to open a bottle or jar by myself. Overnight, I was able to. I'm thinking maybe I was weak from malnourishment before, because of not having the enzymes to properly absorb nutrients in food. After a few days, I noticed I no longer got sick to my stomach at all. I could even eat beans or ice cream without having any gas. The only slightly annoying thing is having to remember it every time you eat, but it's well worth it. Also, after I had been taking it for a few months, I guess my supply of enzymes got built back up or something, however that works, because then I could go for days not taking and still not get sick. At one point I ran out, and went a few months without it. It took 3 months for me to start getting gas or upset stomach to the point a normal person does, but of course, it never got as bad as after I had been sick. I just received my order yesterday and resumed taking them. These are good for anyone, not just someone who is sick or has stomach problems. I read people are doing good to absorb 50% of the nutrients in their food, and this increases that, so it makes you healthier. I think that is why I regained my strength overnight when I first tried it. Excellent product. Literally gave me my health back when I was sick.

These are the Best Digestive enzyme that I've tried & use repeatedly. The quality is there. Not to much of a taste. They're very effective when taken as directed. They could help promote weight loss because they help you digest your food. The texture is a hard pill capsule shape. Drink a lot of water to swallow these. The ingredients are top notch compared to other brands I've tried. They can be expensive But They are worth it. I don't leave home without them.

Ive been using these since 2021 or 2022 when I got my gallbladder removed and they've helped me digest food better compared to what it was like before I started taking these post-op. Fair warning, some batches have a funny smell and taste.

I have IBS Constipation and nothing would help me digest or go to the bathroom properly without pain, until I tried this stuff out. I take probiotics, too, of course, but without this my body wouldn't have been able to digest anything! Or go to the bathroom! Im going to the bathroom almost every day now! I'm even eating milk products! (Just to make it clear it doesn't have lactose digestive enzymes, I'm expressing that I'm not as limited anymore). If you need a good punch to your digestive track, this is it. I refuse to go without it. I've tried other enzymes but I would be in pain and constipated for days. My bloating has dramatically gone down too. Sometimes I miss a dose and I can really tell the difference. I'm not saying this because it's good for it's price, no, this stuff is GOOD at what it does. I'm even debating to talk with my doctor and stop my IBS prescriptions. I was afraid it would only last for a little while before my body would suddenly decide it wasn't going to work. It's been 6 months now, and it's still doing its job. The only down side is that I personally think it's not easy to swallow. But that's it. I know the reason for its size and if it helps do its job, I really don't care. It's a small price for what a big difference it makes. I'm getting used to it anyway. The company who made this is a real life saver! I don't want to over exaggerate my experience. I'm not IBS free. I still have symptoms here and there. But the fact that I'm not limited to eating only potatoes and rice (and I can go to the bathroom again) changes an IBS life.

I have used this for some time but do not see any pain relief. I mostly take it to help digestive system. If it were in capsule form, it would be easier to swallow but as it is a hard tablet the taste is not good and I really do not want to take it. Bromelain and Papain are good for pain and swelling but I do not think there is enough in here to really help. Sorry - wish I could be more positive as I do like the NOW brand - just not this one. I did a home test once many years ago by using small paper cups and putting one supplement in each cup then adding water. I wanted to see how long it would take to dissolve. The tablets were the worst. I now try to buy only Liquids, Sublinguals, or Capsules as they break down and get absorbed faster so you get more from them.

Good digestive enzymes. I take them with almost every meal. Maybe skip with a small meal. Definitely use with a larger meal. They work well for me, as one of those people with a 'touchy' digestive system, yet a great appetite.

Yes the price is high but the product is absolutely flawless and good, its a BIG bottle and each individual tablet is big as well, looks top notch, as for the effectiveness of the tablets idk, i just started taking these, you just have to believe it does good for you though there may not be visible results , its good, i like the bottle as well, nice finish
