Dickies Men's Relaxed Fit Five-pocket Flex Performance Carpenter Jean

Ordered these because I wanted a pair of carpenter style jeans but without the stiff heavy denim feel. The flex is very forgiving; the fit is comfortable, and the length is exactly what it says on the tin for once (I have two pairs of Lees that say they're the same inseam, but one is about 2 inches shorter). The heritage khaki rinse is especially nice if you don't like very blue denim. These of course are not as thick as regular denim (they're only 85% cotton, and the remaining 15% is the various stretch providers), but they're a nice weight, the seams look solid, and they should hold up.

No joke! These are literally the only jeans my husband will wear when he is working. The durability is 10/10. Comfort level is 10/10. He has about 8 pair of the jeans; some worn and more broke in the others but we also order more. What’s that you ask, does he get rid of the well loved ones? Nope! He keeps them all and continues to wear them over and over and over again.

Having finally worn out my old LB 181 jeans, I was looking for something in a relaxed fit, which can be hard to find. Most jeans that say they are relaxed fit are still too tight through the hip for me and need to sit too low. These Dickies jeans are fantastic - they fit perfect at the waist, plenty of room in the hip and thigh, and drape just right for the length! The flex is great as well, though I do wish there was a bit more. The front pockets are deep, but a bit too tight - the outline of my very thin wallet is easily seen - it's a minor annoyance. The denim is a good weight, and I feel pretty confident these won't wear out quickly. If you decide to give these a try - BUY AN EXTRA PAIR!! There are issues with the way the front pockets are designed, and some pairs are stitched in such a way that the denim folds over itself near the top of the pockets - looks terrible if your shirt doesn't cover it, and also becomes an extra hurdle to get your hand past the fold over when trying to access anything in your pockets. **You can confirm this issue prior to de-tagging and washing (which sadly I didn't realize prior to washing the first pair I purchased).** I've purchased a few more pairs since the price is decent and I like them, but I've found the pocket stitching issue in 50% of the pairs I bought, requiring me to return them.

Great value for $$$, Dickies are very well made, quality stitching & fits perfectly every time. Have bought Dickies for my husband & sons for over 40 years. That’s their choice for jeans. They wear well, easy to launder, extra durable, highly functional can wear them for work or whatever, pockets hold up to the wear & tear.

Good fit comfortable but feel cheaper, lighter weight like there cutting corners using thinner material. the ones I bought over a year ago even with wear and tear feel thicker than the new ones

We bought 2 pair of these jeans for our son for Christmas. Both were really nice looking and very good quality. We have always been pleased with the quality of the Dickies brand.

I was lucky to buy a pair at half price. they should last many years after my prior experience with the brand. The jeans are very comfortable and have useful hammer strap and side pocket to hold my pruning clippers.
